CHAPTER FOUR (Drive to school)

He hurried his pace to catch up with him, his young master was limping so he'll try his best to help him and see if he'll let him do it. Walking like this is so uncomfortable just to look at, it feels like he's the one whose on hard situation.

Without any warning he suddenly reached out his hand trying to hold his young master's arm so he could help him walk properly, despite doing it he could feel his anxiety at the same time, he's worried that he'd never let him touch him and will only be avoided by him.

Wang yi who's a meter ahead instantly jolted when he felt a warm palm landed on his arm's skin, that  surprised him and also the reason why he pulled his arm right away in a fast speed, that made dr. Xiao's eyes widen.

'Well, yeah, as expected he'll never let me touch him, except only when it's an emergency' he thought and retracted his hand and dropped to his side. He smiled awkwardly and lowered his head.

Yi bo continued walking while struggling lightly and pretended like it's nothing. Dr. Xiao followed him quietly on his back, he's also alert in case he'll fall suddenly so he could catch him right away. He stared at that tall guy in front of him. 'How did this child became this tall?' before, when the two of them saw each other for the very first time  he's only around his chest but he outgrown him this fast, he can imagine himself looking up when he talks to him, but then he thought that, what's the point of imagining it? The both of them doesn't even talk, unless only if it's necessary.

They reach at the table not long after, he walk pass through him and pulled the chair so his young master could sit directly. Wang yi saw it and didn't say anything and merely examining his kind movements towards him. He sat down without even looking at him or saying anything, then doctor Xiao also did the same which is in front of him.

Uncle Tian followed the both of them quietly and didn't know what to feel about the atmosphere, he didn't know if he should just go to their room with his wife or follow the two, but in the end his legs brought him here.

It's been a while since these two had eaten together in one table like this, facing each other just like the old times, but according to this happening right now the scene was very different from before. Uncle Tian couldn't help but sigh in his heart.

Dr. Xiao hesitated for a while but had the courage to say something later on.

"Um...which one do you want? He ask pertaining to the food on the table while arranging his plate. He wanted to serve him himself so he asked first.

"My hands are free, I can do it myself " he replied coolly  that made doctor Xiao's eyes widen and felt really awkward. This guy must hate him so much. Young master Wang was kind of surprised himself when he blurted it out too, it's just slipped his tongue but Dr. Xiao didn't notice his reaction.

Dr. Xiao's hand froze for while hearing what he just said and pretended that it was nothing after. Uncle Tian coughed lightly to ease the awkward atmosphere. He shouldn't have come here, it's like he regretted being here, he should've give this moment to these two, then he thought it's not late enough to back off. So, without further ado he excused himself quietly and left.

"W-well- then, s-suit yourself " he said forming a smile on his face and lowered his head, the food he picked up using his chopsticks that he's about to put on his Master Wang's plate were ended up on his own plate. He can't afford to piss him continuously.

The both of them started eating with a heavy atmosphere, this just happens rarely but it's always ended up like this. Dr Xiao couldn't help but to feel restless, he already endured this for years what's the point of giving up? He'll just need to endure it more and understand him deeply.
