Why Me?

Chapter 1

~Chris's P.O.V~

I woke up to my baby sister shaking me awake and calling my name "Sissy wake up, mama made breakfast" she said in her playful baby voice. I smiled to myself and pulled her into my bed and hugged her tightly "sissy is still sleepy" I said in a lazy tone. Kassidy giggled "but mama made bacon!"

Once she said bacon I was up and out of bed "why didn't you say that in the first place!?!" I asked as she giggled lightly. I smiled and picked her up and held her close in my arms "I love you sissy" she said as she wrapped her tiny arms around my neck.
I closed my eyes "and sissy loves you too" I said in a loving tone. Kassidy is the only one I truly love, my other brother Jr and Fabian are complete jokes, dumb asses. I hate their guts. They only care for themselves and not me or Kassidy. I watched them all my life, I protected them with my life and yet they treat me like shit.

Is it wrong that I really don't give a flying fuck what they think or do? I sighed to myself "sissy are you okay?" Kassidy asked, I smiled and nodded "yeah! Sissy is always okay!" I laughed with a hint of sadness in my voice. I set my sister on her feet and reached my hand for her to take.

She smiled up at me and took my hand with her small fragile one. I started to walk with her but stopped when Kassidy tugged at my hand "Sissy what happen" she asked while looking me in the eyes. I smiled "what do you mean" I asked wondering what she wants to know.

"Why are their cuts on your wrist?"

My heart sank when she asked me. My eyes slightly widen in horror and shame "sissy are you okay?" She asked again. I growled lightly and dropped her hand like it was fire "I'm. Fine!" I said in a low growl. Kassidy whimpered slightly and backed away "C-Cr-Crystal?" She asked in a tearful voice.

I gasped lightly 'she knows my real name?!?' I thought to myself. I looked at my hands that had turned into fist, I looked at Kassidy who was now slightly crying and backing away from me.

I reached out to her with a warm smile "I'm sorry Kassidy, sissy just got mad with herself" I said with a calm tone. She wiped her tears away and nodded shakily "w-why" she asked as I shook my head "school and mom make me stressed and that makes me mad" I sadly said.

She sniffed and nodded sadly, she reached her tiny arms out to me. I picked her up and walked down to the kitchen. I set Kassidy in the seat next to mine, She smiled as she reached for a piece of bacon. I growled when another had took the whole plate away from her.

I looked up only to see Fabian and Jr eating the whole fucking plate. I slammed my fist on the table which made them jump and look at me "Give. It. Back" I said in a deadly voice. Fabian glared at me "we had it first!" He yelled, I grabbed him by his shirt and slammed my head into his.

He dropped to the ground crying as I grabbed the plate away from Jr, he looked down at his brother and started to cry "Why did you do that!?!??" He yelled to me as I gave the bacon to Kassidy.

I glared at him and showed him my fist, he whimpered and backed away. Mom walked in and saw Fabian on the floor and Jr backing away from me "What the hell did you do Chris!?!?" She yelled.

I hid my smirk and shook my head "nothing, Fabian fell and hit his head" I looked over at Kassidy who was giggling and nibbling on her bacon. I smiled at her and nodded "Whatever j-just get to school and drop Kassidy off at daycare" my mom said in a irritated tone.

I nodded and grabbed Kassidy along with her small backpack and headed out the door with her in my arms and my bag in the other hand.
