hello and welcome to let me down slowly, a sakusa kiyoomi fanfiction. so this was supposed to be a oneshot inspired by a soft!sakusa fanfiction oneshot on archiveofourown but i kinda just stuffed a dramatic plot into this story which makes it much longer. i'm kinda scared to publish but hopefully it's okay. i am a sakusa simp TM (aren't we all?). do expect quite some soft!sakusa moments further into the story. thank you so much for clicking on this story and reading until this far! i hope i won't disappoint you.

so i'm actually a volleyball player too and i am prolly gonna write volleyball matches — i've always wanted to try the flashbacks and thoughts moments in haikyuu! matches. the main character will be written as a left-handed player as i myself am left-handed and i'm afraid that i may mess up footing and stuff if i write a right-handed character. also i literally wrote a wikia page for the mc's school so that prolly mean i'm gonna be really invested in world-building and stuff too. hopefully it doesn't bore y'all too much. feel free to skip over the school intro page, i'll definitely be mentioning everything in the wiki in the book, do there's no big need to read it haha. my writing style is legit so slow-burn lmao.

please give this story a chance !! i know that this is not an xreader fanfiction, but i worked hard on it  and it can always be read as a reader insert, just change the appearance and names when reading. i find xocs much easier to write as i can describe more of my characters' personality, appearance, talents, habits, etc. without people in the comments saying that "this is so not me!" and stuff when i write xreaders. i am completely open and begging for constructive critiscm, and hope my oc isn't too much of a mary sue ^^ that being said, i definitely would like to read your constructive criticism and opinions on the fic.
