THE MIYAGI FINALS !!

— kina tsukishima !

OUTWARDLY, I SHOW A HUMBLE FRONT showing humility whenever I achieve something of great value, even if it's something that my ego can't help but want to brag about. This, of course, can be said with the Tokyo finals medal that I hang on the wall, next to my rows of medals. The golden trophy was brought to the school general office, where it would be placed in one of the trophy showrooms our school has.

Sweaty, tired, but proud, I spent thirty-seven minutes of my life in the shower, emerging with a towel draped over my shoulders, hair wet. Flopping down onto the bed, I stretch out my legs as far as possible, the joints in my back popping as I stretch.

We had just come back from a team dinner at the nearby sushi shop, Coach Song being the best coach in the whole fucking world and treating us to any number of sushi dishes we wanted to have. Gratefully, I didn't have to lift a single zipper on my wallet, nestled safely in my backpack and mostly empty. I took a mental note to go to the ATM near 7-11 to draw out December's allowance. As per the usual timing when I go out with friends (minus that one visit to Tokyo Art Centre with Sakusa), it was around 11PM by the time I had emerged from the bathroom.

Which, of course, was a bad idea, as my mind was still buzzing with the events of today, and despite my tired, aching self who would have to wake up early tomorrow, my insomnia would boldly say no to my creating a health sleep schedule.

Huffing out a sigh, I groped for my phone, which lay on the bedside table. Soon lofi sleep music began to play in the room, and I decided to finger my phone for a while before I turned the lights out.

(My heavy duty curtains were used on the windows so that I wouldn't be caught for disobeying the lights-out rule, which was on 11PM for weekends.)

4000 yen

It was coming close to midnight now, and as Kei's match was tomorrow (afternoon, yes, but rest was crucial), I fully expected him to reply, or leave me on seen tomorrow. Setting my phone down with the Do Not Disturb mode turned on, I turned my lamp off, slipping my legs under the sheets. Towel laid under my not-yet dry hair, I closed my eyes and tried to fall asleep.

kei ^^

"Kina, please don't — "

"Nii-chan, unlike what your Sendai Uni entrance exams tell you, you really are an idiot," a feminine voice came from the pocket of the broad-shouldered man's baseball jacket, to which the man flinched at — the blonde woman with short hair, sharp eyes and a model-like figure held him tightly by the arm, dragged over to the bleachers where two other men were standing at.
