Chapter 3

It was lunchtime everyone was busy eating and chit chatting. Roseanne was on her way to her table she took a seat and was ready to eat when someone took a seat across her. She looked up and smiled once their eyes met

"Lunch really is your favorite subject huh?" Jimin said seeing how her eyes lit up when she sees food

"Who doesn't" Chaeyoung spat to which Jimin rolled his eyes she was slicing her steak but got impatient, so Jimin took her plate and did the slicing

"Thank you Jiminie" Chaeyound said smiling like there's no tomorrow

"So Jisoo's back now huh" Jimin said bringing up the topic was dangerous but he had to know her thoughts of the situation

"Yeah" Chaeyoung said, Jimin look up to face her trying to find any emotion written on her face but failed to do so

"You're not affected?" Jimin said carefully trying his best not to offend her

"Why would I, I didn't leave like a coward" Jimin finally heard a hint of sadness in her voice and it pinched his heart

"Yeah, I guess" was all Jimin could utter

"Yah keep slicing dipshit" Chaeyoung scolded Jimin, when he was done he gave Chaeyoung her plate to which the blonde gladly took. She took a piece of meat and put it in her mouth it tasted like heaven she thought

"Hmmm" she moaned her eyes rolling to the back of her head as she swallowed the meat. What she didn't know was how it turned Jimin on, he cleared his throat drinking his water. He shouldn't be feeling this he knows that but how can you not fall when a goddess is seated across you 'what the fuck' Jimin choked on his water, Roseanne noticed this and immediately went to his side of the table

"Fucking dickhead you know that" Roseanne said annoyed of how clumsy Jimin is, when Jimin raised his head up to face Chaeyoung he was flustered of how close she was

"Yah you good" Chaeyoung said worried of the lad's lack of response. Jimin couldn't utter a single word it was like his body was made out of rock

"Are you blushing?" Chaeyoung said seeing the red tints on Jimin's cheek, Jimin woke up from his trance when he heard what Chaeyoung said

"Are you crazy Chaeng" Jimin defended touching his red hot cheeks

"Well it looks like it" Chaeyoung retorted seeing how Jimin was defensive of his situation

"I'll get going, see you later" Jimin stood up from his seat and kissed Chaeyoung's cheek taking his leave. This was a normal thing for them but Chaeng didn't know why her heart was beating rapidly

"I need to go see a doctor" Roseanne went back to her original place and ate her meal

The brunette felt victorious on the first day of school and that rarely happened she was walking down the school's hallway peacefully when someone grabbed her by the arm and pushed her against the wall

"What the fuck Taehyung" Jennie said when she recognized his face

"Oh so it's Taehyung now huh" Taehyung teased the annoyed Jennie he just loved seeing Jennie annoyed for some reason

"What happened to the 'Never dropped them' Jen" Taehyung said imitating Jennie's voice earlier

"They ran away so could you please just let me go" Jennie said trying to get out of his grip, but failed miserably as Taehyung was obviously stronger than her

"You tryna be a comedian now Jen" Taehyung teased as he inched closer to Jennie's face, Jennie could smell his minty breath

"You're annoying Kim Taehyung" Jennie tried to inch her face away but was shocked when Taehyung pulled her by the waist their bodies against each other

"You're breathtaking Kim Jennie" Taehyung said staring at her like she was the only thing he could see and Jennie swear her heart just skipped a beat she could feel her cheeks heat up. She didn't want Taehyung to see it so she pushed him away and once she saw that she was successful in doing so she ran away not wanting to see his face again

When she felt that she was in a good amount of distance she stopped, her palms in her thighs supporting her as she was catching her breath

"Shit" Jennie said lightly hitting her chest, when she was able to regain herself she was about to walk but saw an all to familiar figure standing a few meters away from her

"Didn't know Taehyung had an effect on you Jen" Jisoo said her arms crossed in front of her chest

"You don't know anything" Jennie spat as she turned her heels to walk the other way

"Jen hear me out" Jisoo pleaded not wanting Jennie to take another step away from her but obviously the brunette didn't listen and proceeded to walk

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry for leaving you" Jisoo said as her were filled with tears threatening to fall

"You think a sorry makes it all" Jennie said as she turned around meeting Jisoo's eyes

"You think coming back makes us forgive" Jennie said as a tear escaped her eye

"You shouldn't have" Jennie took a step closer

"Everything was okay without you" Jennie spat trying to look happy

"By okay you mean way worst" Jisoo said glaring at the brunette

"Look what happened to Chaeng and Lisa" Jisoo saw the commotion earlier and felt guilty for leaving them

"You were supposed to protect them, listen to their feeli-" Jisoo was cut off from her sentence

"And who'll listen to mine" Jisoo was taken aback from Jennie response

"This again it's always you, you, you, you, don't you care about others" Jisoo was annoyed of how Jennie was defending herself

"If I don't care about how others feel why do I feel like shit Jisoo, why do I feel like I'm losing everything that keeps me up every morning. All those years I've been listening to what others feel, considering their behaviour because that's what I was taught, to act like a lady every day, every minute, every second. But it was okay because I had you, you were willing to listen to all my rants and never get tired.

And when Lisa's mom died, and Rosie's mom was accused of killing her, you left without a single goodbye or an explaination for your sudden leave. So presumably I was the one who listened to Lisa and Rosie's rants and when it was too much for me to handle, I took a break for a day Soo for a single day. And when I went to Lisa's house to check on her she shut me out, she didn't wann talk to me or even see me because she thought I was with Rosie and I was on her side" Jennie's tears were streaming nonstop because of the pain she felt when Jisoo left

"You didn't have to leave us like that I needed you. We needed you" that sentence crushed Jisoo's heart, she didn't know how Jennie was doing she didn't even ask if she was alright and that made her feel guiltier
