Chapter 9

The announcement shooked everyone to the core, everyone was confused of how, what, where, and when they felt love for each other, but they kept thier mouth's shock for their sake, the room was dead silent until the sound of a glass shattering was heard. They turned their heads to the owner of the glass and it was none other than Kim Jisoo.

She stood there her eyes with tears as she stared at her mother, full of disappointment, anger, hatred in her eyes. And her mother stood at the platform looking apologetically as Jennie's father led her back to where the guests were

Unlike Jisoo, Jennie was rather calm, she stood her ground with a straight face like she didn't feel anything but inside she was screaming, battling with how and what she should feel

"Noona you okay?" Jungkook who was beside her asked carefully, with his hand on her back, he addressed her respectfully this time. Jennie didn't say a word and just stared into nothingness, Jungkook was startled when Jennie stood up

"Noona?" Jungkook repeated, holding Jennie's arm. Jennie whipped his hand and walked towards a certain table. She reached the said table and her father looked up

"Let's talk" Jennie whisper shouted anger evident in her voice

"Go back to your seat Jennie-yah" her father chuckled, like what Jennie said was funny

"Let's. Talk." Jennie said as she kicked her father's chair lightly, she then walked away leaving her father who was now fuming at her attitude, but he dismissed his emotions and continued entertaining the guests, when he finally had time he excused himself and followed Jennie steps earlier

"What do you want" his father said sternly as soon as she found her leaning against the wall

"Do you know what you did back there hmmm, you fucking bitch almost embarrassed me among those people, Yo-" Jennie's father frustratingly said

"And you think I give a shit" Jennie retorted pain and anger was eveident in her voice

"You promised mom, you promised that you wouldn't marry someone else, you promised that she will be the only woman you will ever love, You Promised!!!!" Jennie was greeted by her father's palm. Her cheek was red as a tomato as her father hit her hard

"You don't shout at your own father" her father said pointing his finger at her as if to teach her a lesson

"And you don't make promises you weren't going to keep" Jennie said tears rolling down her cheek. She remembered the day her mother died on her deathbed

Her mother was diagnosed with leukaemia, she had the decease when she was 14 and it got worst so much worst when she was 20. She was practically laying on her bed the whole time, thinking things she shouldn't be thinking. She'd tell Jennie how much she cries at night, thinking how her parents going to live without her

She was an only child and her parents cherished her so much. Spoiling her with things she didn't need. And when they found out that their daughter had a stage 3 leukaemia their world's crumbled down. They tried to help her stay strong but it was no use as the beauty was getting weaker and weaker everyday

Until she met a man in a party with such mesmerising features, but he didn't notice her. She had a crush on him for a month and when she found out where the lad was enrolled she immediately asked her parents to sign her up to the school he was in.

Her parents were having doubts on sending her to school or not but after a few nudge they eventually gave in. The environment was new to her as she hadn't gone to school for a long time. She suddenly bumped into someone and not just someone it was someone. The someone she was eager to see since the moment she set foot onto the place.
