A month later
Months turned into weeks, weeks turned into days, hours turned into minutes. It felt like everything was passing by in a blink of an eye. And in a blink of an eye everything went back to normal. It was as if they didn't lose someone that commemorates beauty and color in this dull campus
Roseanne became the lively young student she once was. She wore a bright smile every single day, that it kept others from thinking she was suffering and mourning for her dear friend
Lalisa attended clubs and lessons. She said it was her way of unwinding but clearly it was a distraction from all the incidents that has occurred
And Jennie well, out of all of them Jennie didn't hide her longing for the beauty. The guilt she carried made her look pitiful. She curls on the soft mattress reminiscing all the memories she had with Jisoo. It was torturous to say the least. She couldn't bring herself to eat nor speak. All she did was sit and watch the sun go down peacefully
She had a few visits from her peers. Mostly from Taehyung but still nothing until this day
"Roseanne" Her lips curl upwards, she sprints towards her. Arms entangled with one another as they walk towards their classroom
"Do we have quiz today?" Nayeon, Yoongi's step sister asks. Roseanne and Nayeon had been friends for over a week now. They shared their close bond through the same interests. It was quite amusing to be frank, but Roseanne enjoyed this unexpected friendship
"I hope not" Roseanne says. As they enter the room, eyes landing on a specific figure making his way out. Guilt consumed her as her eyes follow his every move
Jeon Jungkook, well let's just say the couple parted ways after Jisoo's funeral. No one knew why this unexpected breakup happened and it will remain a mystery in Cheong A
She subconsciously made her way to her seat. Rummaging through her bag to find the book she needed, when sudden gasps were heard
Surprised by her presence Roseanne immediately approached her.
"Jen, you're here" surprisingly she was able to utter a word out of pure shock
"And so I am"
"H-how are you? Are you okay? What's going on"
"I'm fine Chae" Jennie reassures with a tap on her hand situated on the table
"Your hair" Roseanne says "It's short"
Jennie sighed, before answering "Yeah Jisoo once suggested this"
Roseanne was not expecting Jennie utter Jisoo's name this soon. Bewildered to say the least
"Jennie it's ready" Shuhua came in the room. Since when were they friends Roseanne thought
Jennie gave her a small nod before turning towards Roseanne "I'll see you later okay?"
And with that Jennie disappeared into the hallways
"Taehyung-ah" Roseanne called catching the lad's attention "Jennie's here!"
His eyes widen, pure excitement sparkled in his brown orbs. As he exits the room disregarding the upcoming lesson there is

"Lisa focus" Her coach commands the beauty, trapped in her trance once more
"I'm sorry coach" Lalisa apologizes once again. She tries to reach her toes to stretch her muscles. To a result of her butt colliding with the wooden floor. Earning a loud thump that echoed in the cramped room
"Lisa" her coach approaches her
"Sorry coach" Lalisa bows to show her sincerity
"Let's take a break" she pats her small back and exits the room as Lalisa collapse, her knees feeling weak. She could only stare at the ceiling before her and sigh. A water would suffice this madness
Lalisa's feet subconsciously walks on its own and onto a small convenience store. Her hair sticking onto her forehead as she catches her breath. Her phone suddenly vibrated the text message didn't fail to catch her attention as her eyes widden in shock. Without thinking much she ran towards the campus
"Taehyung!" Lalisa calls after spotting the lad "Have you seen her?"
"No, I can't find her" Taehyung pants
"I'll go this way call me okay" Lalisa takes the other path, as Taehyung continues to seek Jennie
"Jennie?!" He says once he opens the door to the rooftop
His eyes met hers, and he swore he saw her body stiffen by his presence. His feet led him to her as he stood infront of her not uttering a single word
"H-hi?" Jennie stutters
"Your hair suits you" Taehyung complimented the beauty. Jennie's once stifled body loosened. It has always been like this, he was like her comfort place. A place where she'd run to when things get tough. And with that her arms open wide, Taehyung could only release a smile and give her warm hug
Their bodies sway together, feeling the rush of adrenaline circulate her nerves. She missed this, she missed him
