ACT I: THE STAFF OF CREATION
(3rd Person POV)
As some Teryxes took down three Atlesian Mantas, a sole Manta, containing Teams JNR, CRSL, Oscar and Nicky was flying towards Atlas Academy, seemingly undetected; Crystal still had her right arm in her cast.
Ironwood stood in front of the Academy, holding his Due Process which were attached to a cannon unit with the three remaining Ace-Ops standing behind him.
Ironwood: Be ready for anything. We don't know what state Penny is in.
Harriet: If any of those brats have the nerve to come with her, we put them down immediately. The General gave his terms. No more games.
Vine sighed.
Harriet: Is there a problem?
Vine: Just... retracing the steps that led us here.
Ironwood's scroll beeped, showing a security alert with Qrow and Robyn.
Harriet: What is it, sir?
Ironwood: Qrow and Robyn. They're in the Academy Hanger.
Vine: Trying to stop the payload?
Ironwood: Or just looking for a way out.
Harriet: Not going to happen. I've been waiting to take my shot at those two. *Activates Exo-Skeleton* Let's go, Ace-Ops.
Elm: But someone needs to stay here with the General.
Lucy: Leave that to me and Winter.
Winter: We lose the payload, we lose our leverage.
Ironwood: They're right. Contain it, now.
As the Ace-Ops left to deal with the situation in the hangar, Winter turned to Ironwood.
Winter: Sir... this course of action-
Ironwood: I hope you're not going to try to talk me out of it.
Winter: No, sir. I don't think that's possible.
Lucy narrowed her eyes at her 'father' and clenched her fist before they heard the jets from Penny approaching them. She proceeded to land in front of them as they aimed their weapons at her.
Ironwood: I didn't think you'd actually come alone.
Ironwood handed the Gravity Dust Bolas to Lucy who sheathed her swords and walked over to her.
