(Volume 8) Mythical Rose (Divided) (OLD)

Ex Chapter 1: Happy Halloween!

(Dairoku's POV)

Just in a nice... peaceful slumber with the rest of my team. Today, classes won't be keeping so I just wanted to sleep in for today... However...

Ruby: "WAKE UP YOU LAZY BUTTS!!!"

RRCT: "GAH!!!"

My eyes shot wide open as I sat right up, seeing Celeste and Tyros do the same thing, only to notice that all of Team RWBY are in our room, though out of all of them, Ruby's the only one who looks wide awake and excited while the other three just looked tired beyond belief.

Tyros: "What in the living fu-ow!"  He was cut off by the rose smacking his head.

Ruby: "Language you lazy cat!"

Neo: "Ugh... Why is she like this...?"  She asked, slightly annoyed as Celeste yawned and looked sleepily to the others, who shrugged.

Weiss: "She was just like that to us..."

Celeste: "..."

Dairoku: "Roselyn... What's got you all perked up in the morning?"

Ruby: "Hehehe! Well today's a very special day, my dear boyfriend!"

Dairoku: "Is it now...?"  I took a few seconds to think before realizing that it was October 31st... I chuckled and looked at her before scratching her head.  "How could I not remember by rose's birthday? Heh, Happy Birthday, babe."

Ruby: "Aww! Thank you!!"  She squealed a bit as she hugged me tightly, causing me to chuckle.  "Oh I have so much stuff planned for today!!! First we'll... Wait... Where's Kuraime?"  She was right, Kuraime was the only one not here.

Yang: "Does she normally wake up this early?"

Dairoku: "Yeah. Normally she's the first of us to wake up. Considering today's October 31st, she's probably out in the Kingdom."

Tyros: "Yeah, probably cause it's her Birthday today too."  The eyes of Team RWBY, widened from hearing that.

Blake: "Wait, today's her Birthday too?"  She asked looking at her elder brother, who nodded in response. Ruby immediately got super excited.

Ruby: "AWESOME!!! Me and My Best friend share the same birthday!!! Oh, this is gonna be so cool!!!!"  I chuckled at her excitement before gaining an idea.

Dairoku: "Actually, Roselyn?"  She looked at me.  "Why don't you go down into the Kingdom and find our little Grim Reaper?"  She seemed to ponder for a while before grinning and nodding her head.

Ruby: "Alright! Wish me luck!!"  she yelled as she used her Petal Burst to dash out of the room. I sighed.

Dairoku: "That was easier than I thought..."

Yang: "Your plan was to get her out?"

Dairoku: "Yeah, so we can start preparing the Halloween/Birthday party."  I then looked at Tyros, Neo and Celeste.  "We still got the decorations and Presents hidden, right?"

Celeste: "Hehehe! You betcha!"  she said with a smirk

Tyros: "They're in Team CFVY's room.

Neo: "And the ingredients for a Birthday cake are in Team JNPR's room. Ren will be baking it."

Dairoku: "Perfect. That just leaves the decorating part. Celeste, you know what to do." 

Celeste: "Of course Big bro!" She nodded and saluted before she quickly changed in the bathroom into her normal outfit and flew out of the window.

Weiss: "Where's she going?"

Tyros: "Last year, we needed a way to keep an eye on Kuraime so we'd know when to hurry up. Celeste is basically looking out for her and now Ruby, just in case they end up coming back before we're ready."
