As I walk up the stairs in the middle row I take my seat next to Eden who has kindly set up my laptop. "Did you get in trouble?" She asks me as she types away on her laptop. "No, it was more of a ignore them speech" she nods her head and carries on with the work.
The door opens and Mr Hammers walks back in. "Ok class, I will be honest. I won't be easy on you but in reality it helps you to work the very best you can and so I can see what's your faults and we can learn on them together. Understood?" Everyone nods including me.
"Now, today's lesson we will start of easy. The basics. We will be doing role-play but that will be tomorrow." He claps his hands and scans the room. His eyes skim over to me and then Eden.
"Ah Miss smith, Si?" I look to Eden and see how she looks nervous. She nods her head at Mr Hammers who sits down in his chair with his hands intwined and he leans over.
"Can you explain to me, what does a lawyer need to show that shows they are professional and the right one to hire?" She looks through her notes and bites her lips nervously.
This is easy. Not to sound cocky.
"Um. I think-" she begins to explain but is cut off shortly after. "Miss smith, can I ask you did you check the email I sent to the class to revise on for today's lesson?" He asks her as he gets up from his chair and starts walking up the stairs slowly.
I look at him but find his eyes looking towards me. "What about you, Miss Montgomery?" I clench my thighs at his deep voice sending throbs to my precious lady down there.
"Well the main skill a lawyer needs is their social skills and public Speaking skills. It's important because it helps the client to understand their confidence and dedication to the work, do you want me to continue?" He sends me a impressed smile and walks back to his desk. "That's alright, just make sure to put it in your work and send it to me by the end of the day, Miss Smith I expect you to take notes please" Eden nods and turns red.
I frown at the embarrassment she has on her now. I'll treat her after this. "We can study at my house if you w-"
"Do you think you can take the bus home?, I have something really important to do" she asks me as the bell goes and packs her things away. Is she mad at me?
"Are you mad at me?" She shakes her head and moves past the other students down the stairs. I sigh and pack my things up. Great I'm the last one here. I only have one class today and it was Law where as tomorrow I have English, Maths and then Law. "Layla, are you ok?" I look up and see Mr Hammers frowning.
"Yes, I'm fine thank you" I can tell he wants to ask something but the door opens revealing a women with light brown and blue eyes with a smile on her face. She's beautiful. "Hi daring- oh hi, sorry I didn't know you had a student left behind" girlfriend? Wife? Fling? My thoughts keeps guessing but Stops when I see a diamond ring on her marriage finger as she pulls his face to a kiss on the lips.
Of course his married. Why didn't I notice the band on his finger too? Maybe because you don't give two shits "I was just leaving, I'm Layla it's nice to meet you. You have an excellent husband. His good at his job" she looks me up and down at me and smiles. I can't tell if it's fake or genuine "thank you, I really am lucky aren't I? Oh im Rosie" I nod and look to Mr Hammers who's looking at me.
"I emailed you my work" he looks at his laptop and nods and then looks to his wife. "I'm deeply sorry honey but I need to discuss this with Miss Montgomery. Do you think we can collect Axel together another time?" She crosses her arms and scoffs as she walks out the door.
"Oh no it's ok, we can discuss this tomorrow I really don't mind" I tell him but he holds his hand up and pulls out a chair next to him. "Please sit down" I nod my head and take a seat next to him.
"Ok so can you explain to me why you two was late to my lesson?" I gulp finding him really intimidating. "Well I missed my alarm and my friend tried to wake me up but she couldn't so she pushed me off the bed and I landed on my ass and I had to rush so-" he hold me hand which stops me from talking instantly. I look down at our hands and I smile a little but quickly look up to see him smirking.

"Relax, I'm not mad. Just try not to make it a habit ok?" I nod my head and he goes through my work. I look down to see our hands are still connected. A blush crawls up to my cheeks and I pull it away. "Sorry" he nervously laughs and rubs the back of his neck.
I giggle and cross my legs. "It's ok, sir" I bite my lip and see his face darken. Shit. He leans forward and takes my lip out with his thumb. "cosa ti ho detto sul morderti il labbro, angelo" {translation: "what did i tell you about biting your lip, angel"

He nods. "What will you do?" I ask him.
Something clicks to him and he clears his throat. "Sorry, but I actually have to go, I'll see you tomorrow Miss Montgomery" I frown as he opens the door for me. "Oh, ok bye sir"
