It had been about an hour since Oliver took his initial leave, he was far from the kingdom by now, his horse ran through the forest, Oliver kept his eye out for anything that was not natural to him. For a while he had seen nothing, the horse started getting tired by that time, the horse stopped by a tree, Oliver whipped the lead, but the horse would not move, Oliver dismounted his horse and that is when the horse decided it wanted to lay down. It annoyed Oliver, they had to keep moving but the horse was tired. Oliver decided to venture on his own, he walked through the forest, alone, that is when he started hearing noises. He frantically looked around, "I HEARD YOU! COME OUT!" He shouted; it was then menacingly silent. He pulled his sword from his scabbard, creatures slowly started creeping towards him, when he saw them, he knew he was outnumbered, he started running away from the creatures, the creatures chased him, all he could think about was Lucia in that moment, him being gone, her not knowing where he went or if he was dead or alive at this point. Nobody knew that Oliver left, nobody saw him leave either. He kept running and running for what seemed like hours, the creatures were still chasing him, and the sun started going down. Oliver kept running though, then he tripped over a root that was out of the ground, he turned onto his back and saw the creatures getting closer and closer to him. He thought it was the end for him, he closed his eyes, "I'm so sorry, Lu..." He mumbled; his life flashed before his eyes. He relived all his memories with Lucia and his father, then a flash of blue light came and went within seconds, Oliver opened his eyes to see what it was, he looked to his left and saw a girl, she was not wearing much, just enough to keep her areas covered. She looked at Oliver, "Are you just going to lay there or are you going to get up before more of these things get us." She bluntly said, Oliver didn't know what to do, he slowly got up, "What was that... Blue light..." Oliver said, "My ice. Now no more questions until we're safe." She said, she grabbed Oliver's arm and ran with him to where she was hidden at. They arrived at a door in the side of a huge hill, the girl quickly opened the door and ran into the cave like house, the girl closed the door after they went inside. "Mommy, who's this?" A voice of a little boy said, Oliver looked at the little boy, "He's a knight from one of the kingdoms." The girl said, "The Kingdom of Chovalon..." Oliver said, the girl looked at him, "That kingdom? I am not familiar with the name. I'm Eira, that is my son, Ralph." She said, Oliver looked at Ralph, Ralph waved a worn-down stuffed bunny at Oliver, Oliver smiled. "He's adorable." Oliver said, "Thank you." Eira replied, Eira walked over to something that looked like it was a bed, Ralph ran over to Eira. "So, what brings you out here, knight?" Eira asked, she sat on the bed, Ralph sat next to her, "I'm trying to find a way to lift the curse that's on the land of Rozevia." Oliver said, Eira looked at him, there was silence for a moment, then she started laughing, Ralph silently played with his worn-down stuffed bunny. "If you think you can break that curse, you're one wrong knight. That curse cannot be broken, trust me, I wanted to break the curse before I realized it was impossible." Eira explained, she grabbed a satchel that was on a table next to the bed, "What is the curse, I still don't know." Oliver said, "How do you think you'll break the curse if you don't know what it is or why it's there." Eira replied, Oliver looked down and shrugged. "Take off your armor, you don't need it on in here." Eira said, Oliver looked at her, first he took off his scabbard, then he took off his armor. Oliver went and leaned his scabbard and armor against the wall. "It's the curse of fallen angels." Eira said, Oliver looked at her, he was confused, what fallen angels?
"Can you explain, please?" Oliver asked, "Then you might want to sit down." Eira said, Oliver walked over to a small table that had two chairs at it, he pulled out one of the chairs and sat in it. "The curse of the fallen angels, a horrible curse, honestly. It curses the land within the walls of kingdoms, this is only the second time I have heard of this curse being used on a kingdom, the first kingdom was the Kingdom of Audexicuria, it was the first kingdom that had the fallen angels curse casted upon it. People have tried to break the curse, whoever tried has lost their lives. The fallen angels curse basically makes it impossible to recover the kingdom, some of the deadliest fallen angels are known to be hiding within the walls of the kingdom the curse was casted upon, they come out to play when someone tries to break the curse." Eira explained, Oliver went pale, "There's no way it can be that impossible... We would just have to defeat the fallen angels..." Oliver said, Eira looked at him as if he was an idiot, "No one has yet found out how to break the curse safely, battling the fallen angels is like trying to dodge a huge bolder that is fifty feet long with you running over a bunch of roots sticking out of the ground. It is impossible." Eira bluntly said, Oliver leaned back in the chair, he was still determined to find a way to break the curse. "I want to help the lady I am in love with take back her kingdom. No matter the circumstance." Oliver said, he sat up in the chair, Eira stared at Oliver for a moment, "Fine, I'll help you. We need to head south, it will take a long time, if you're up for it, tell me now or leave." Eira bluntly said, Oliver stood up and said, "I'm up for it." Eira got up from the bed, she went and handed Oliver the sachet. Oliver looked at the sachet, "What is this?" Oliver asked, "Something for your lover, something that will protect her." Eira said, Oliver's face slowly turned red, he nervously laughed, Ralph giggled. "We should rest though. We leave at dawn." Eira said, Oliver nodded, Eira blew out the candles that were lit up, Eira went and laid on the bed, Ralph laid down with her. Oliver walked over to his armor and sat next to it; he was happy that he was going to be getting help. But he had to venture out with Eira down south, Lucia was in the north, Oliver did not know how long it would take but he already missed Lucia to the point of just wanting to go back and apologize to her, but if he left, he would not get the help he needed to save Rozevia for Lucia. Oliver drifted off to sleep, thinking of Lucia.
