Chapter Eight

They all decided to go back to the kingdom Elmer ruled, the Kingdom of Kivuilum. It was risky but there were secrets there, secrets of the fallen angel's curse, stuff nobody knew but the maker of the curse and the casters of the curse. They all arrived at Kivuilum, the horses pulled the wagon into the gate, the knights in black armor watched them and the wagon, the horses halted to a stop once they had gotten to the village. Ralph hopped out of the wagon, so did Lucia and Oliver. Aristotle hopped down from the seat, Henry, Ada, and the twins stayed in the wagon. "Where is Elmer." Ralph said, "Right here, my son." Elmer said, he walked over to Ralph, he was behind the knights in black armor. Ralph looked at Elmer, "Your knights killed Eleanor Bickford, an honorable woman whose name shall never be forgotten.", "Oh? The one my knights 'killed'?" Elmer asked, that's when Eleanor walked out from behind the knights in black armor, they all looked at her, Ralphs eyes widened, Eleanor was wearing a dress and had a queen's crown on. "ELEANOR!" Ralph shouted, "WE THOUGHT YOU WERE DEAD!" Ralph continued, he tried to run to Eleanor, but Aristotle quickly grabbed his arm. "Their healer healed me if I promised to marry the king, to save my life, I am now his wife." Eleanor said, Ralph stared at Eleanor in disbelief, so did Lucia, Oliver, and Aristotle. They all felt betrayed by Eleanor, how could she do this? They guess she was not so honorable after all. "WHO IS THEIR HEALER!" Ralph demanded, "Me." Faith walked up behind them, they all looked at Faith, they all thought she died in the battle at Chovalon, Ralph never really knew Faith though. Ralph suddenly screamed, Henry covered Ada's ears, the twins covered their ears. "YOU ARE DISHONORABLE! HOW COULD YOU! YOU WOULD'VE BEEN BETTER OFF DEAD!" Ralph exclaimed in a shout, Oliver and Aristotle had to hold Ralph, Ralph was trying his hardest to get out of their grips. Lucia walked up to Elmer, "We will be taking back Chovalon and Rozevia, people who have fought for so long will be honored. Eleanor Bickford and Faith Jenkins will no longer be honored once we have revived Chovalon and Rozevia." Lucia bluntly said, Eleanor did not seem very happy to hear that from Lucia, Eleanor looked down, "That is understandable..." Eleanor said, Ralph gave up trying to get out of Oliver's and Aristotle's grip after a while, Ralph started crying. "How about you join me, my son. You will be happy here." Elmer said, Ralph kept crying, he looked at Elmer, "I WILL NEVER JOIN YOU! I WILL NOT DISHONOR MY MOTHER OR LUCIA! I WILL FIGHT WITH MY NEW FAMILY UNTIL THE END!" Ralph exclaimed in a shout, Elmer did not like that answer, "Very well, you can all die together then." Elmer said.

Elmer turned and looked at the knights in black armor, he signaled them to take off their helmets, the knights in black armor took off their helmets. Ralph quickly got out of Oliver and Aristotle's grips, Ralph rose his hands, causing the ground to shake, weeds, vines, and plants started shooting out of the ground, making a huge wall between them and the knights in black armor. "Why did you do that!" Lucia exclaimed, "Magic users." Ralph bluntly said, one of the knights in black armor blasted his way through the wall of weeds, vines, and plants. "GET THE KIDS OUT OF HERE HENRY! NO LOOKING BACK!" Lucia shouted, "What about you guys!" Henry shouted, "WE CAN TAKE THEM ON, NOW GO!" Lucia demanded, Henry then realized why Ralph admired Lucia so much, Henry quickly climbed up to the seat from the wagon and grabbed the leads, "Hold on tight!" Henry shouted to Ada and the twins; the twins held Ada tightly. Henry whipped the lead, causing the horses to run towards the gate. Ralph pulled his sword from his scabbard, so did Oliver, Lucia, and Aristotle. More knights in black armor came running at them, one of them swung their sword at Lucia, Lucia quickly jumped back but her cheek was slit a bit, Lucia swung her sword at the knight in black armor, the knight in black armor blocked it, Lucia kicked up his left ankle, causing him to fall back, Lucia lifted her sword and stabbed the knight in black armor in the head, Elmer quickly left with Eleanor and Faith. Lucia looked around and saw Oliver and Ralph fighting some tough knights in black armor, Aristotle ran up behind them and started getting the knights in black armor that were running at Oliver and Ralph from behind, Ralph made some walls of weeds, vines, and plants to give them some cover occasionally. Lucia knew that they had each other's backs, Lucia ran towards the castle while a bunch of the knights in black armor were distracted, Lucia needed to get into the castle, she needed to find those secrets, no matter what. Elmer ran at Lucia, "YOU WILL DIE! THE DESCENDANTS OF ATHENA SHALL NO LONGER ROAM THE EARTH!" Elmer shouted, Lucia turned and looked at Elmer, Lucia just stood there, how was she a descendant of Athena? She did not think it was possible, but then again, it could be.
