Chapter Seven

It had been six years by now, they all kept trying their hardest to find a way to break the fallen angels curse, they would always find something but end up in a dead end, repeatedly. Lucia gave birth to her third child three years prior, they decided to live in a kingdom that was close to Chovalon and Rozevia, but since they were now wanted by king Elmer who surprisingly lived, they had to stay hidden away. Ralph was learning more about his magic, as he was doing so, he taught Aziel and Aldous how to use theirs.

Ralph was reading Lucia's mothers books at a desk; he had already read them about a few hundred times but decided to read them again just in case he missed anything. "How can it have been six years, six years with no answer?" Ralph asked, Aristotle looked at him, Aristotle was cleaning his sword that Oliver had made him a few weeks ago. "Think of it as a question with no answer yet, we need to find that answer." Aristotle replied, Ralph looked at him, "I would've thought that we would've found the answer by now." Ralph said, he looked back at the books, Aristotle sighed, he wanted answers like Ralph did, they all did. Though, they needed ways to kill other kinds of creatures as well, not just a way to break the curse. Oliver walked into the house they were hiding in, he had a few grocery bags filled with food, Oliver went and sat the grocery bags on the small dining table in the kitchen. Aziel and Aldous came running out of their room, along with their sister, Ada, who was just the cutest thing ever. "Dad! We found something cool!" Aziel said, Oliver looked at the twins and Ada, "Oh? What'd you find?" Oliver asked, "We foun-" Aldous said before getting cut off by Ralph, "A diamond dagger with the mark of Chovalon on it, it was Eleanor's." Ralph said, they all looked at him, "Anyways, where's mom." Ralph continued, he put the books down on the desk, he got up from the seat that was at the desk and looked at Oliver. "She went to the library to look for books on curses." Oliver said, "She won't find one, she's looked for one time after time again, nothing." Ralph said, Oliver walked over to Ralph, "I think puberty is finally kicking in." Aristotle said, Ralph replied, "Shut the fuck up, you look like a damn rat.", "I do not!" Aristotle exclaimed, the twins laughed, Ada watched them silently. "Ralph, just calm down." Oliver said, "No! How can I calm down! This is shit! All of this is shit! This world we live in is just a huge fucking nightmare!" Ralph exclaimed, he was obviously upset but he had been trying to hold all his emotions in, which wasn't the best idea. "Ralph, can we talk for a moment?" Oliver asked, Ralph walked over to Oliver, he crossed his arms. Oliver walked out of the house, Ralph followed him, "Ralph, let it out, let it all out." Oliver said, he turned and looked at Ralph, "I just... I wish that..." Ralph said, he trailed off and looked the ground. "I know how hard it is, with all of this going on, trust me Ralph, we have been through most of this together, all of us." Oliver said, Ralph started crying, "I miss my mom and Eleanor! I miss how silly she was, how she lifted my spirits when I was sad, she comforted me when my mom died!" Ralph said, Oliver hugged him tightly, Ralph kept crying. Oliver felt awful, he saw Eleanor die, so did Aristotle. "Ralph, I think it's time you headed to school, alright?" Oliver said, Ralph nodded, the twins ran out the house and grabbed Ralphs hands, they were ready for school, Ralph did not want to go, he was already smart, he honestly did not think he needed school. "Have a good day, remember to share your coins, Aziel and Aldous." Oliver said, "We know!" The twins said, Ralph started walking to school with them.

Once they had gotten to the school, they separated, the school was sectioned out from elementary, middle, and high school. The twins went to the elementary section while Ralph went to the middle school section, Ralph walked into his class, he went and sat at the back of the classroom where he usually sat. Some other students gathered into the classroom. Today some boy decided to sit next to Ralph, "Hello, I've noticed that you're always alone back here." The boy said, Ralph looked at him, Ralph was silent, "I am Henry Caxton, I'll be moving up into the high school section with you after our short fall break!" Henry said, "Will you please just shut up already, I obviously do not want to talk to you, so why do you talk to me." Ralph bluntly said, Henry went quiet, Henry did not want to upset Ralph but did not want him to sit alone either.
