Wannabe Schemes

Chapter 5

Night- Namousa comes home to Kasumi finishing the dishes.

"Hey. Sir Nighteye is gathering the group together tomorrow morning to talk about the plan of attack for the copycats." He places his hat and coat on the rack next to the door.

"Wow. That quick? He must have found some break in the case." Kasumi hands him a warm bowl of soup.

"Yea. All it took was finding one man who worked for your guys and the ones now. He was one of the clean up crew." He grabbed the bowl and cracked a few crackers.

"Heh. Can't believe how quick this is coming along. If this keeps up, we will be able to defeat the original for good." Kasumi munched on a cracker.

"Yeah. He didn't say anything about needing 'the informant' so tomorrow just focus on school. I'll text you if anything changes."

Next day: Kasumi goes to school while the detective leaves to gather a few things at the precinct, then heads over to the meeting, which began at 10. Some of the pros for the mission had started to arrive. Fatgum was eating breakfast. Endeavor was leaning against the corner with his arms folded. He seemed to be asleep. Gran Torino was with Nighteye and Bubblegirl. . Nighteye motioned Tsukauchi over to them.

"Hey, Mirai. Got some files from the recent attacks. Eraserhead said he'd come after his first class." He offered the papers.

"Thanks Detective. Unfortunately, Orca won't be able to join us for the meeting or the raid due to another strong case in Jaku City. You might want to bring in your informant in case anyone has any questions." Nighteye noticed the hesitant glance in between his phone and Torino.

"Is there a problem?"

"Uh. No sir. I'll text them right away. He then proceeded to text Eraserhead asking him to bring Kasumi with him. He also texts Nezu to ask for release papers.

At that time, Mr. Aizawa wore a confused look between his phone and Kasumi. His face returned to resting as a student gave him the work.

"Armoni. I need to see you after class." He placed his phone back into his pocket.

'Crap. What did I do now?' She thought as she finished the last question.

After class, Kasumi meets Mr. Aizawa by the 1a door.

"Detective Tsukauchi has requested me to bring you with me to the meeting."

"Oh right. It's today. Thank you." Kasumi begins to imagine the outcome. The two started to walk to the front of the school. "Do I need to bring my hero suit?"

"Normally, yes. Though during meetings, it's best to keep on your uniform to look professional." He paused at the doors.

"I'll bring my car around while you get your release papers. Don't wait up, cuz I won't." On that command, Kasumi speeds to the main office to get the papers and runs to meet Aizawa.

"Is this because of your internship with Endeavor? Usually it doesn't cover these things."

"No. I didn't even know he was going to be there. The only Pros I was told about was you and Gran Torino. Though I expect nothing less, since we are dealing with the unknown with these quirks."- Kasumi stares out her window.

"I understand that you are staying with the detective, but this is more. How do you know about all of this?"- Aizawa relaxed to one hand driving as he turned to the main road. Kasumi let out a small smirk.
