Chapter 7

(Phoebe's POV)

"I still can't believe that happened!" Ocean say frustrated putting her face in her hands as we walked around the park hearing the little kids roaming around.

After that little situation at Lil Crazz, we decided to go to the park to walk around for a bit.

"Yeah" I agreed with her, I've always been the laid-back one, but when that albino girl ganged up on me I almost lost it.

Now that I think about it..?

"Who were those two that were with her??" I question.

Ocean lets out a sigh

"That would be Amy and Jane" she replied.

"And the one that was in your face was Amy" she added to my unspoken question.

"How do they all know each other?" I asked curious.

"Umm...I don't know to be honest, I just know that Amy's in the dance team so that leads to how she's friends with Sarah" she says.

"And for Jane, I just know that they were in acting class together so..."

Hmm, I just nod and kept on walking until we stopped taking a seat on one of the benches that was facing the playground full of children.

"So..what happened between you and Sarah??" I question Ocean Stiffens.

"W-what makes y-you think something happened between us?" she stuttered.

"I don't know" I shrugged.

"Could be the way you snapped at her," I say putting up my index. "Or the way she threaten you" putting up the next "or the way she got in your face when I pulled her back" putting up my third finger as I look over at her.

As I look over she looks as if she saw a ghost.

"Uhh.. you got me" she finally says letting out a soft chuckle.

"Umm...Sarah and I used to be friends -best friends actually" letting out another chuckle as she remembered the events that took place.

"I heard a runner that she and my boyfriend -at the time- were with each other after a game that night. At first, I was confused..." She paused

"Until I saw a picture of them together her arms were around him as his were around her, in my head, I'm like their friends who doesn't hug their friends" She faints a smile

"But after I heard that they kissed"

I gasped shocked.

"..I didn't know what to believe anymore" she sobbed as tears begin to fall down her face.

"I was furious, I was mad cuz why would you do something like that? So I told her boyfriend -at the time- about it and boy he was furious when he saw the picture and the fact my ex was his friend at the time was so messed up. Sarah.." she sniffed before she could continue.

"She came late that day, during lunch it's when her boyfriend confronted her about it and she said nothing happened between them -which was a lie, because why would you when there is proof." She grunted.

"I just remember being so hurt that it turned into rage so...I planned on getting her back and her now ex was on board with it" She looked at me as her eyes were now red before she could continue.

"It was after class and she had gym, so as soon as she came out the first thing she saw was me and her ex making out."

Oh wow..wasn't expecting that coming.

"I just want her to feel the same pain I felt" she sobbed.

"To feel that the guy you loved go behind your back with somebody you knew that was that close to you!!" She cried out.

I stayed silent taking everything in

Is Sarah really like that?? I thought.

"And I know that was messed up on my part, but I just felt so betrayed" she sobbed looking at me.

I was about to say something as I took my now buzzing phone out of my jacket.

"It's my mom.." I say looking at Ocean as she nods and wipes her tears away with the back of her palms.

"Hello?"

"Where the heck are you?!" She snapped.

Not even a hello??

"I'm at the park Mom," I told her.

"Do you even know what time it is?!" She yells out. I pulled the phone away from my head to look at the time.

10:30 -oh shoot!

"Okay, I'm heading home right now" I assured her raising the phone to my ear as I get up from the beach motioning Ocean to follow.

And with that, she hugged up the phone.

I let out a sigh...

I'm 18 yet I still have a curfew.

We make our way back and get in the car that was parked in the parking lot and nobody said a word, it was dead silence the whole ride home.

I look out the window thinking over what just happened I start to wonder...what was Sarah's side of the story? I've always known that there were two sides to every story...but what was Sarah's??

We made it into my neighborhood as we made a left turn pulling up on my driveway.

"Thanks" I unbuckled my seatbelt unlocking the passenger door, but before I get out. I forgot to mention one thing.

"Ohh and I love your hickey by the way," I say getting out of the car, but not missing the shocked face Ocean pulls not giving her the chance to reply as I make my way up to the front door of the house as I hear her car pulling out the driveway.

Buzz!! Buzz!!

How embarrassing!!

I send letting out a sigh and looked up at the house

"Let's just get this over with" I mumbled clenching my jaw.
