Chapter 6

(Sarah's POV)

"What!!" Both of my friends shouted over the phone. It was a three-way line after I told them the news of my father being engaged.

It's still a shock to me that he is.

"Girl we HAVE to celebrate!!" One of my friends, Amy says Excitedly.

I chuckled shaking my head.

Me and Amy met in dance rehearsals during Junior year, I was already on the team, but I was helping out who to pick to be put on the team. All the girls were good, but something about Amy was interesting..and that's what the team needed. I don't know if it was her spirit or her confidence...or the fact that she is albino...and an Asian at that, it was so fascinating to me, that I could watch her dance all day.

Just knowing she have to be put on the team, and the next thing you know she was, but what I didn't know was that she was a fan of mine she said she follows me on social media and was inspired by my dancing to try out, it's so funny to me how I didn't notice her around the school before, but that's when I found out she didn't come during freshman year -just like someone I know or..use to- but I was so flattered and ever since we were friends.

"Yes, we should" the other one, Jane says agreeing.

Me and Jane have been friends since Junior year we met in acting class. It was my first time acting in that class just as it was her first time in the school. And she killed it on stage when the teacher told her it was her turn to act.

I could remember it like it was yesterday when she walked in through those double doors in the theater apologizing why she was late and all I could think was how cute she was because she was shy and boy....I was wrong.

But what I didn't know was that Jenny has Heterochromia, meaning she has two different colors on each eye. The left one was olive green and the right one was light blue.

In the end, we partnered up with each other for a play, and ever since we became friends.

"Lil Crazz anybody?!" Jane cheered.

"Yes!" Amy and I said at the same time.

"Alright I'm gonna get ready then, Amy you going to pick us up??" I questioned.

"Yeah," that's when we heard a muffled noise in the background.

"Okay!!" Amy shouts "See y'all later my mom calling me.

"Alright see ya soon" That's when she ends the call.

"What time are you guys going to have dinner??" Jane asked still on the line.

My dad said that we were going to have dinner with my new 'family' members, I don't know why, but it felt weird coming out of his mouth. He didn't say when though, but I'm kinda excited because I'll get to meet my future stepsister for the first time.

"I don't know he didn't say" I replied.

"Ohh..well I gotta go and get ready who knows what Amy's mom making her do," she says letting out a soft chuckle.

"See ya soon!!" She adds before we said our goodbyes ending the call.

Quickly getting out of bed rushing over to my walk-in closet trying to pick an outfit to wear.
