(Sarah's POV)

"Finally!! Home sweet home!"

I just got back home from shopping with some of my friends at the mall..or should I say got 'dragged' to the mall.

"Hello!! Is anybody home!?" I yelled realizing that I was alone, normally our housekeepers would be here roaming around as usual. Looks like the housekeepers are out today.

Ring!! Ring!!

My phone rings as I take it out of my purse.

Only to see that my dad calling.

I wonder what's his deal?

"Hello?" I said wondering why he was calling me.

Because I know he doesn't like to take or receive calls when he's working or at work for that matter.

"Hey sweetie" he replied with excitement.

"Hey Dad, what's up?" I said a bit surprisingly.

What's got him so excited about?

Not going to lie my dad and I have a good relationship, but it was very rare for him to call me all of a sudden. Something in the back of my head is telling me something wasn't right.

And I don't know why...

But I try to shake the feeling out and went straight into the living room and sat on a nearby couch.

"Where are you?" He questioned.

"Home, I just got back shopping with a couple of friends.." I replied casually.

"Well in a few minutes, I'm going to head home okay."

"Why..what's wrong??" I asked concerned. "Because you don't usually come home until midnight.." I continued frowning my brows.

"Yes, and that's because I have something to tell you and it's very important" he replied.

"Well...what is it then?" I asked curiously.

"Well that's the reason I'm coming home in a few," He says in a duh tone "Your going to have to wait" he continues.

Well, this is my dad for you.

Me as a child picking up things here and there since I used to come to his office when I was a little, I notice that my father is that type of man when it comes to business -since he's a businessman himself- he doesn't discuss things that he knows that are important over the phone.

He's more of a face-to-face type of person so when it comes down to something, he likes to see you for him to tell you. And sometimes for me too.

Some people say I look and act like my dad sometimes, but I don't see how's that true..the only thing that me and my dad have in common is our eyes and that's mostly it, but some say I look exactly like my mom, but the only thing I got from her was the color of my hair and the structure of my nose.

Ever since my mom's passing..it's been hard for both my dad and me...especially me.

But I try to move pasted it. What's in the past stays in the past.

At least that's what I thought...

"I want to see how'd you react" he added.

"Ohh, well then is that all you wanted to tell me??" I question.

"Yeah I believe so" he replied.

"Well.. see you when you get home?.."

"Yeah, bye sweetheart," he said.
