Fragments of Memories

Prologue: Remember Me, Ahlly

Thought the last drop of rain
will drain all these excruciating pain.
But the memories keep flooding in
and reminding me of how we had been.

The million tears that dried in my eyes
and the way it hurts more that we never said goodbye.
Your poems that are lying on my bedroom floor
are only making me miss you more and more.

I can still remember everything about you
and all the laughter that I shared with you;
the flutter in my stomach that I'd always get
every single damn time that our eyes met.

Small talks over pizza and beer
and the I love yous that were loud and clear.
Those cold nights we were cuddling in bed
and the heated arguments caused by the words misread.

You told me that we will write this story together
but why are you now in someone else's arms?
And it doesn't make it any better
that you totally forgot about me and all the promises you swore.

And now I sit and watch you at the bar
as you dance with another man.
You smile at him and take his hand
and you have no idea how it makes me go mad.

I would've raised a war for you if you ask me to
and would've turned the world upside down if that's how you want it to be
But I guess no matter what I do,
it won't be enough to win you over again.

Can we go back to how it was before?
Just you and me, and the future so uncertain that we both want to walk through.
Baby, it cuts me deep into the core
that you lost a part of you and I lost you.

The last drop of vodka
didn't take away even the slightest hurt.
I wish I can hold you now,
I wish you remember my heart.

Yes! Yes! Yes! Knox and Ahlly will be having their own story!!! Hihihi!

Many of you had been asking me to write Knox and Ahlly's own story and I always told them that I am not sure yet if they will be getting one. But lo and behold, I have finally decided to share with you their beautiful story!!! ❤❤❤

This won't start soon though. I am finishing Hate The Way I Love You first before writing the first chapter for this. So after HTWILY, I will be updating two new stories simultaneously - this one and The Wedding Deal.
