It had been a rough day for Error. Incubux and Moonlight pestered him with questions about his safety and stuff like that. They didn't want him to get bullied, though they didn't know that Error could CLEARLY protect himself. They only saw a twelve-year-old assuring them that he would be fine.

Nightmare had been shopping for his stuff alone because Error was afraid of loud crowds, and there were a lot of them in the mall.

"I'm telling you! I'll be fine." Error assured to both of the teens.

"Nope. We're still going with you."

They kept going like this for 15 minutes until there was a certain click of the door in the hallway.

"I'm back!" Nightmare shouted from the entrance.

"Can I help you with the bags? You seem like you're struggling." Error picked up the bags, heading to the living room.

They pulled out all of the stuff and put most of it in a school bag for Error.

"Mystic, you can help me make lunch." Nightmare gestured towards the kitchen. Error nodded, standing up.

"I can help. Though after lunch I'm gonna start knitting a new scarf for myself since I don't know where my old one is." Error pulled out the knitting needles he found in his room lying somewhere (It's a coincidence, huh?).

Nightmare nodded, pulling out ingredients to make a decent lunch. I mean, the author is pretty bad at cooking (shut the f**k up, narrator). ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Ok, pause the story for a bit. I don't know what food to give them, so imagine some food for lunch T^T. I'm too lazy to search up a decent lunch on google. Anyway, just imagine some lunch.

Timeskip to after lunch
Error had started knitting a scarf with some yarn Nightmare gave him.

He thought about all the times that the gang tried to knit. It failed miserably since they didn't really bother to do their research about knitting. As such, they failed.

It was pretty difficult to knit when you hear shouts from outside from your adopted siblings and your dad arguing with someone on the phone.

Even so, he managed to finish it within an hour. That's a miracle. But then, Incubux and Moonlight were still outside playing basketball with their friends.

'I miss you guys so much... I promise that one day I'll bring you to this multiverse with me. Though, I hope that you don't fall in the void by then.' He thought to himself. He knew that the multiverse collapse took some time, and the gang would already start figuring out how to go to another multiverse.

He was tempted to figure out more about this world, but he couldn't open the codes just yet. He'll have to be sure that no one will see him.

He decided that it would be the best decision to do it at night since his family would be sleeping.

But he had a few things he had to worry about.

When he would go to school, he would have to deal with his haphephobia a lot more because there would be a lot more people to avoid. And the counterparts of his friends and enemies would be there too. Just great.

So that's why it would be better to put gloves on.

There was a lot of knowledge that Error lacked, though he knew a lot of basic things. Like history and math and stuff like that. But he lacked the knowledge of everyday things.

"Mystic? Do you want to help me with dinner?"

"Sure, dad."

"Also, don't forget to make some friends in your new school! You know, it starts in a week (yes, there was a timeskip. Too lazy to write it on the start of the chappie.)!" Nightmare smiled at his adoptive son.

Ah yes. Another timeskip to after dinner
Error went to his bedroom to take a rest after being annoyed by his two brothers.

He opened up the codes, reading through them to find some useful information he needed. Turns out that he was going to the biggest school in the whole city. That's interesting.

He always wondered how the people on the surface deal with annoying people, because there was quite a handful in the town. He had no idea how to deal with them, instead of throwing them into a portal, killing them, etc...

He was not excited to go to school. Sure, he would get to see the counterparts of Blue and Nightmare's gang and loads of other cool stuff, though he didn't want to see Ink. No. He wouldn't see Ink. Even if it was another counterpart, he didn't care. He would remind him of his Ink.

Though he got his hopes up by reminding himself that he would get to see his counterpart and make more friends. He wondered what kind of teacher his counterpart was. He was guessing that Ink was an art teacher, since, well, his name and personality said it all.

The whole night, he kept looking through the codes to find some info that he was interested in, like, the children of the counterparts. he figured out that Error had two kids named Paperjam and Gradient. Interesting names in his opinion. I'm too lazy to say all the rest of the kids (Stfu, narrator).

In the morning
He got up from his bed at 5AM, going to the kitchen to make breakfast once again.

School started in a week. He was nervous.

The fact that he was going to go to a school. With people. Noise. Touching. He feared that he was gonna have a panic attack right in the first day.

He hated the times when he had to go socialise, because then, he would have to interact with people, and that's what he didn't want to do. Well, not yet.

He had too many memories of the gang and himself. Those would be thrown away in the trash if he would make friends. He don't want to forget his family. Never.

He had guessed that the gang and Star Sans teamed up to go to the multiverse he was in. That would be correct, of course, but he didn't know that.

Family and friends is the most important thing in your lives. Most of it, at least.

A/N
I know, short chapter. Don't judge.

The next chapter would be posted in about... A week or so. I don't know if I have enough time to write a chapter in a few days.

Estimated time spent on the chapter: 1 hour

Words: 1004

Effort: middle

Don't worry. The ending is always good in my books. Even if a lot of people die on the way.

Correct me if I made typos.
