Chapter 12

Jule's POV

"These are really good Chase," Madi says with her mouth full as we sit on the beach having a small picnic. 

Kassidy left a while go and now it's just us. Finally some peace without her for once. Noah hasn't said a word yet, he just keeps to himself.

But the real question I want to ask him was why did he send Kassidy away?

We're on our way back home, drained and exhausted. I feel like I can sleep for ages. Our hole wasn't a success by the way. Jordan stumbles carrying water causing the sand to slid down the little hole hill and cover it back up.

We finally arrive back home and I storm upstairs ready for a nap. We spent like 4 hours at the beach and I feel like I have a tan. I hop in the shower and turning the water on, letting the cold water drip down on my back before turning the water to hot.

After I finish with my shower, I wrap a towel around myself and blow dry my hair. I head out to the guest room and get changed. I knock on the door causes me to almost drop my towel.

I walk over and open the door. Noah is standing there with his hands in his pockets.

Why does he look nervous?

"Yes?" I ask annoyed. Why the hell is he here?

"Can I come in?" Noah asks avoiding my gaze. I put my hand on my hip.

"Why?" I ask.

"Just can I enter your room?" He asks irritated. I huff and move to the side to allow him in. He mutters a 'thanks' and sits on the bed.

"I'll be back to change. Don't touch anything," I warn. He nods his head and I grab my clothes and head to the bathroom. After I change I brush out my hair. 

Why do I feel the need to look good for him? Fuck him.

"What do you want?" I ask as I come out of the bathroom.

"I just wanted to explain everything okay? I don't like how you're ignoring me. It's killing me Jules," He rushes out.

"Okay, then explain." I say and take a seat on one of the chairs by the side table.

This house really does have everything.

He takes a deep breath. "Kassidy and I are not together. We never were."

"Okay? Then why'd you say you were?" I ask. Excuses.

"I never did. I just said stuff to make Gio go away. That man believes anything trust me. I don't have feelings for Kassidy whatsoever." He says.

Great, now I feel kinda bad for not letting him explain.

"Oh." Is all I could manage to get out.

"I'm sorry if I hurt you Jules but I promise Kassidy and I aren't together. Please believe me." He begs.

I stay quiet for a moment. Then I sigh. "Fine, I believe you. But you have to make it up to me." I say. His face lights up.

"Of course," He says. 

An idea pops into my head. "You have to do what I say for a whole day without backing out," I say.

"Really?" He asks. I nod my head. He lets out a heavy sigh before he nods his head. "Anything for you butterfly," He says and places a light kiss to my forehead.

Noah's POV

Jules fell asleep in my arms after we watched a movie. I feel happy again knowing that my butterfly isn't mad at me anymore. She means the world to me. 

I carry her from the couch to her bedroom. I don't think she'd be happy seeing she spent the night in my bed. I open her door and gently lay her down. I remove the hair from her face and kiss her forehead.

"Sogni d'oro" I whisper to her. She stirs in her sleep. She's so fucking adorable. (Sweet dreams)

"ti amo" I say quietly to her before I shut the door behind me and head back to my room. 

I head downstairs to see Chase and Jordan on the kitchen counter eating. "Hungry pigs," I mumble to myself. 

"You want some?" Jordan offers to me. I shake my head.

"How'd the talk go with Jules?" Chase asks. I told Chase that I was going to talk it out with Jules. And I was actually surprise she didn't lash out on me.

"It went well," I say and take a seat on the stool.

"So did you guys....you know," Jordan gestures something with his hand. Chase smacks his head.

"No! I know she's not ready yet. Plus we just got back on good terms," I say.

"Whatever," Jordan shrugs and goes back to eating his food.

"You gotta tell Kass to make sure she stops bugging you guys," Chase adds.

Right, now time for the hard part. Telling Kassidy that I'm breaking things off with her. We were never together but she sure thinks it and I am not letting her get in the way of mine and Jules' relationship.
