Toys- Poem

There they sat

For a very long time

Until one day

We pulled them down

We played and played

With the toys

Until we ran out of games

So there they sat

For a very long time

Untouched for months

Not looked at

At all

But I got bored

And I wanted to play

But she wasn’t around

So I did it anyway

But then she saw

All the fun I had

The good times without her

So she said

“Stop! No more games!”

Then she took my toys away
