The Ghosts of Bolivia (A Ghost Recon and SU crossover)

2. Amaru's Rescue

It's now 6 AM and the 2 Ghosts are there relaxing for a bit before they get to work on their mission. Rory is looking over the edge at the lovely view of Bolivia and Charles is just sitting down reading a book. Then, they begin to hear some helicopter noises. They look up to see a helicopter landing and there's a man with a skull bandana, ballistic goggles, black carbon high cut helmet, heavy IBA vest, Combat clothes, black headsets and he's also wearing black kevlar gloves. The man also has caucasian skin, and he's armed with an M4A1. He gets off the chopper and it flies away. Rory looks at the man and walks to him.

Rory: "You a Ghost?"

Nick: "Yes, I am. Name's Nick. Callsign: Archangel."

Rory lends out his hand and the 2 men shake hands with each other.

Rory: "Nice to meet you, Nick. Welcome to the Ghosts. I'm your commanding officer, the name's Rory, Rory Kace. Callsign: Spartan. This other Ghost with me is Charles Scott. Callsign: Cobra."

Nick: "Nice to meet you as well, Cobra. Alright, so what's the play?"

Rory: "A friend of Pac Katari's been kidnapped. So what we've gotta do now is to obviously bring him back. From what we know a lieutenant may have the information about his whereabouts are. Lieutenant's not far from here, by the way, Bowman told me where the lieutenant is."

Nick: "Bowman? You mean the blonde woman with a jacket?"

Rory: "Yeah, you met her?"

Nick: "It was in my briefing."

Rory: "Oh, I see. Alright, let's go. Get to the truck. It's time to earn your pay, people. Put on your game faces."

Nick: "To be honest, I don't feel too comfortable working with Pac Katari and these guys. Their sort of ideology ends up with more bodies on the ground. What's your feeling on this op, boss?"

Rory: "At the end of the day this is a revenge mission. We need to focus and get the job done before we get stuck between local politics and a firestorm of cartel bullets. Like I said earlier, our first objective is to track down that Santa Blanca lieutenant so we can find Amaru."

Charles: "Hoo-ah."

The 3 ghosts then walk toward a pick-up truck and get inside it. Rory is driving it and the other 2 Ghosts are in the back seat. Rory starts the engine and they're off. He drives the truck down a slightly steep road and the 2 Ghosts in the back hold on. The truck goes down some hills and they arrive at the destination, which is a hostile area controlled by Santa Blanca cartel thugs. Before they set foot on some stairs, Charles quickly informs Rory.

Charles: "Hold on, there could be a planned ambush."

Rory: "Hm...good point. Deploying drone."

He grabs a small drone from his pocket and tosses it into the air and it flies up into the air. Rory then controls the drone and uses it to scout the area, there's not that many Santa Blanca guards in the area, all are armed with SMGs. Rory calls the drone back and he puts it away, before the group moves up, a Santa Blanca guard is just standing in their way, smoking a cigarette.

Rory: "Hang on, I got this one."

He crouches down and his Ghosts hide behind cover. Rory walks forward and he takes down the guard by snapping his neck quickly.

Charles: "Nice boss."

Rory: "Compliments can come later. Let's move."

The men head up and they see a Santa Blanca fighter sitting on a box and another Santa Blanca fighter playing with a football.
