With Baro now captured, some of Unidad's forces will fight against some Santa Blanca sicarios out in Bolivia. Now, the Ghosts and the Gems are all sitting down at another safe house where everyone is now relaxing, resting. David has his boots off and he's laying against a rock, humming 'Glory, Glory Hallelujah'. His humming catches the attention of Proustite, who comes to see what he's doing. He looks and sees her sitting next to him and she asks.

Proustite: "Uh...what's that you're doing?"

David: "What? Laying down?"

Proustite: "No, that er...that tune you were making...what was that?"

David: "Oh, me humming? It's just something I like to do...I even like singing."

Proustite: "Humans can sing?"

David: "Oh yeah. Why, do you wanna hear me?"

Proustite: "Oh, I'd be delighted to."

David: "Alright, alright. Oh, I know one. It's called Rocky Mountain High, it's a song by a guy named John Denver. I sang it back in the states before I came here, to Bolivia. I don't have a guitar so...I'll have to be like an acapella, just sing the song with no music. Well, here it goes..."

She begins to sit and listen while the other Ghosts and Gems are just talking with each other. David starts singing and Proustite listens to him sing.

David: "He was born in the summer of his 27th year
Coming home to a place he'd never been before
He left yesterday behind him, you might say he was born again
You might say he found a key for every door

When he first came to the mountains his life was far away
On the road and hanging by a song
But the string's already broken and he doesn't really care
It keeps changing fast and it don't last for long

But the Colorado rocky mountain high
I've seen it rainin' fire in the sky
The shadow from the starlight is softer than a lullaby
Rocky mountain high (Colorado)
Rocky mountain high (Colorado)

He climbed cathedral mountains, he saw silver clouds below
He saw everything as far as you can see
And they say that he got crazy once and he tried to touch the sun
And he lost a friend but kept the memory

Now he walks in quiet solitude the forest and the streams
Seeking grace in every step he takes
His sight has turned inside himself to try and understand
The serenity of a clear blue mountain lake

And the Colorado rocky mountain high
I've seen it raining fire in the sky
Talk to God and listen to the casual reply
Rocky mountain high (Colorado)
Rocky mountain high (Colorado)

Now his life is full of wonder but his heart still knows some fear
Of a simple thing, he cannot comprehend
Why they try to tear the mountains down to bring in a couple more
More people, more scars upon the land
And the Colorado rocky mountain high
I've seen it rainin' fire in the sky
I know he'd be a poorer man if he never saw an eagle fly
Rocky mountain high

It's a Colorado rocky mountain high
And I've seen it rainin' fire in the sky
Friends around the campfire and everybody's high
Rocky mountain high (Colorado)
Rocky mountain high (Colorado)
Rocky mountain high (Colorado)
Rocky mountain high (Colorado)
Rocky mountain high (Colorado)
Rocky mountain high (Colorado)."

(SavPhoenix this was the only song I can think of that would be great)

After he finishes up singing, Proustite is seen clapping and she's smiling too. She clearly enjoyed that moment and she then speaks up.

Proustite: "You humans make such interesting and unique songs! I'm utterly impressed!"

David: "Huh, nice. Well, do you want me to sing you one more?"

Proustite: "Oh, absolutely! Please do!"

David: "Alright er, this one's not by John Denver, it's by a guy named Lewis Capaldi, a famous singer, just like John. Anyway, here it goes..."

David: "I fell by the wayside, like everyone else
I hate you, I hate you, I hate you
But I was just kidding myself
Our every moment, I start to replace
'Cause now that they're gone
All I hear are the words that I needed to say

When you hurt under the surfaceLike troubled water running cold
Well, time can heal, but this won't
So, before you go
Was there something I could've said
To make your heartbeat better?
If only I'd have known you had a storm to weather

So, before you go
Was there something I could've said
To make it all stop hurting?
It kills me how your mind can make you feel so worthless
So, before you go

Was never the right time, whenever you called
Went little, by little, by little until there was nothing at all
Our every moment, I start to replay
But all I can think about is seeing that look on your face

When you hurt under the surface
Like troubled water running cold
Well, time can heal, but this won't

So, before you go
Was there something I could've said
To make your heartbeat better?
If only I'd have known you had a storm to weather
So, before you go
Was there something I could've said
To make it all stop hurting?
It kills me how your mind can make you feel so worthless
So, before you go

Would we be better off by now
If I'd let my walls come down?
Maybe I guess we'll never know
You know, you know

Before you go
Was there something I could've said
To make your heartbeat better?
If only I'd have known you had a storm to weather
So, before you go
Was there something I could've said
To make it all stop hurting?
It kills me how your mind can make you feel so worthless
So, before you go."

After singing it all, he looks to see Proustite in shock, surprised too. He then sits up and looks at her and he scoots over to check on her.

David: "Hey, you alright?"

Proustite: "Human music...they...they've got...feelings...I-I'm...I'm utterly impressed, David!"

She smiles and David's cheeks turn pink as he blushes softly and scratches the back of his head, flustered by her.

David: "Th-thanks..."

Then, he hears his boss speak up, surprising him.

Rory: "That's some impressive skill, David. We could hear you, y'know."

David: "Ah! B-boss!"

Rory: "You're pretty good at singing, I'll give you that. Anyway, that's not why I'm speaking with you. I'm speaking to you now because we've got a new objective. Another Buchon's been found. Guy's responsible for disposal of corpses. His name's El Pozolero. Come on, now."

He lends down a hand to David to hoist him up and David takes it and gets back up on his feet while Proustite gets up too and together, they all begin heading to the Blackhawk to hunt down the next Buchon.
