CHAPTER 5

The tension between Minho and Changbin was still there but Changbin tried his best to push it down as Chan came first.

Changbin sighed and rubbed his face thinking that this all was happening too fast for him. He was just out for a quest in Monstradt and then meeting Jisung and Hyunjin halfway and helped them on their quest after and then came back together to Wangshu Inn.

Changbin's eyes started to get teary thinking of how Chan was doing and he felt guilty of not realizing it sooner. He sat himself on the bed beside a floating Hyunjin and tried to calm himself before he went full on sobbing.

Dwaekki, sensing his master's guilt, quickly climbed down off Felix and rushed over to Changbin. He quickly climbed up Changbin's thigh and plopped on Changbin's face. Causing a wet giggle from changbin.

Dwaekki, still hugging Changbin's face, rubbed his face on Changbin's cheek. The affection warmed the pyro adeptus' heart.

"no-not yo-your fault" Dwaekki said in between his rubbing sessions. Changbin smiled and hugged his pigbunny.

"Thank you aegi" he said

Hyunjin smiled at the pair. He turns to look at where Minho and his two acquaintances were. They were talking by the railing and also Felix relaying the information he has to them. Hyunjin can't help but feel a sense of familiarity with the two but he couldn't be sure.

Shrugging the feeling off, now, he turned to look at Jisung. In which, mind you still, hugging and squishing the life of the companions. LeeBit was still struggling to get out of the hold while HanQuokka and Jiniret had long given up. BbokAri seems to have already passed out against his hold.

Hyunjin decided that enough is enough and helped them out of the hold. He chuckled at how quickly LeeBit ran to Minho with his ear dropping on his face blocking his view and making him fall on the floor behind Minho.

"Ah!" LeeBit falls.

"is that all- LeeBit!" Minho was cut off when he heard a thud behind him and called out worriedly at his mischievous bunny.

"Ouuwwiiieee" Leebit said, sitting on the floor and holding his forehead.

Minho scoped his bunny up and got back to where they were discussing the information Felix gave them yesterday. Jeongin offered to heal the bunny's bump where he hit himself on the floor and he mumbles softly a healing spell that makes a music like notes on the music paper to float around LeeBit and I guess Minho too since he was still holding LeeBit up.

Instantly, the pain on Leebit's forehead was gone and even Minho felt more fresh than before. The fatigue slowly disappearing from him.
