Arc 2 Chapter 5 (12)

When Seungmin awoke the first thing he saw was clouds surrounding him. He tried to sit up in panic but found that he couldn't. When he looks down on his chest, he sees PuppyM curled up, clutching his shirt. He was confused as to what had happened and placed a gentle hand on the pups head. Caressing him as he was soundly asleep. Well until he wasn't.

PuppyM stirs and blinks at him before shouting,

"MIN!"

Seungmin flinched at PuppyM's shouting as the little pup wraps his tiny arm around Seungmin's neck, "I was so worried." The pup bawls on Seungmin's shirt. Seungmin smiles and cradles the pup, "Shh... I'm here... I'm alive..."

Seungmin looks around as he cuddles the pup. The bed that he was lying on is in the middle of... clouds? and a few trees. Are the trees floating?

"Oh you're awake," he hears a voice suddenly say. He looks at the owner of the voice and finds Chan standing in all his geo archon glory while holding a tray of food with Wolf Chan tagging slowly behind him.

"How? When did they get you out?"

"Oh? You don't remember?" Chan asked, placing the tray on the side of the bed. He offers Seungmin the bowl of porridge.

Seungmin tries to think of what happened. The fight with yuta...Taking the barrier down as he fights... then Jeongin!

"My brother?! Where is he?!" Seungmin scrambles to get up, almost spilling the porridge and PuppyM who yelped and fell off his chest when his master panicked.

Chan was quick to stop him, "Woah woah calm down. He's fine, he's with the others right now."

Seungmin still looks uneasy but he calms down enough to begin eating. PuppyM climbed back and curled up on his lap.

"What happened? I can't remember anything else after Jeongin got stabbed..."

Chan sits properly in front of him and begins telling Seungmin what had occurred that night.

"A week ago-"

"Wait wait wait! What do you mean a week ago?!"

"It means what it means. You've been asleep for 1 week."

"Goddamn it!"

"You are a god-"

"Please don't. Just tell me what happened."

"Alright. A week ago..."

Chan decides to take pity on the used to be elder now younger and tell Seungmin the whole story as on what had happened after he had passed out.

They had won the battle in his domain injuring Yuta and killing most of his fatui followers. Minho had said to the pyro fatui that this was only the beginning. A warning to the Cryo archon.

With that, Seungmin shivered at the mention of the icy archon.

"Hyunjin and Jeongin had been taking turns healing your injuries. You were badly hurt almost as your brother but at least your brother was healed on time. While you, " Chan sighs and shakes his head.

"ah... it was that bad huh..." Seungmin said.

"I thought you would leave me again, min... i was so scared. You were just laying there unconscious in a comatose state. You drift in and out of consciousness for a week! We didn't even know when you will wake up" the pup said with teary eyes and buried his fluffy head on Seungmin's chest. Seungmin smiled sadly and pat the pup's head.

"at least now you are awake. The effect of gaining back your throne, your full powers as the Pyro Archon had really taken a toll on your newly reincarnated body Min. You need to take it easy for a bit"
