"Ma~! I can't fwind my tiger." The 4-year-old boy whined as he waddled into the kitchen to see his mother cooking.
She looked down at him and smiled before placing the wooden spoon down to crouch down at his level.
"Aw Tae sweetie, where did you last have it?"
"I-I thwought I left it in mwy bedwoom, bwut I can't fwind him." Taehyung pouted as his light brown curly bangs fell onto his face.
"Did you look in the playroom? You forget he likes to play hide and seek before lunch." Gasping, the little boy shook his head before he started running to the playroom, coming back 3 minutes later with a stuffed tiger in his arms and a big boxy smile plastered on his face.
"I see you found him." His mother chuckled, watching him nod his head quickly before he ran to her and hugged her leg, his cute tail wagging behind him.
"Thwank you, Mama," Taehyung mumbled as his face was squished against her leg, causing her to chuckle before she patted his back.
"You're welcome Taebear."

"Mama,""Yes baby?" His mother softly asked as she had her arm around his small form, a book in her hands while they sat in bed together before he went to sleep.
"Why dwo I hwave these bwig ears on mwy head?" Sighing, she closed the book that was almost finished with before she snuggled him tighter.
"Because you're my special baby, no one other than you gets to look like the cutie you are." Giggling, Taehyung looked up at his mother with his happy smile before snuggling into her side.
"I am Mama's special boy."
"Yes baby, yes you are." Watching as her son fell asleep, she could only try to contain the tears that wanted to fall down her face. Her head turned to look at the window, where the constant thump of rain kept hitting it over and over. Luckily, it wasn't too bad, otherwise, she would've had to stay up another night trying to get her son to sleep.
"Oh my sweet baby," she whispered, her voice sounding so fragile, so broken, but she went to turn her head to see his sleeping figure all snuggled up against her with his small tiger.
"I don't know the reason behind you having those ears, I'll probably never will." She explains, her now free hand going to brush the soft brunette bangs out of his sleeping face, causing his small ears to move.
"But that will never stop me from loving you. You will always be the light of my day, and I won't let anyone take your special looks to crush you and hurt you. Mama will always protect you from those who want to danger you, I promise." Allowing one tear to fall from her eye, she bends her head to kiss the top of his before reaching over to turn the lamp off and get into the covers, making sure her son is comfortable before she spent yet another night watching over him.

"Mama! Lwook at the bwig pwuddles!" A very excited Taehyung exclaimed as he looked out the window of his backyard. His mother chuckled at him as his little tail wagged at a rapid pace before she slipped him on a purple raincoat and helped him put on some purple and white polka-dotted rainboots."We have to get you all geared up baby, I don't want you getting sick." Shaking his head, he turned around to look at his mother.
"Nope, Taetae cwan't get sick." His bright boxy smile brightened his mother's pale face as she looked into his eyes.
"I'll be right here to watch you, ok? Let me know when you get bored baby." Giggling, the boy ran to the door as his mother went to go open it, her smile widening when she heard his cute squeals of happiness before she shut the mosquito net part of the door to watch him splash in a huge puddle, his small feet getting covered by the water as he continued to jump over and over, causing her to sigh in relief before she heard her phone go off.
Going to pick it up, her eyes never leaving her son as he started to play in it with his hands, she placed it against her ear slowly before her soft and timid voice answered.
"Hello?"
"Hi, is this Mrs. Kim?"
"It's Ms. Kim, but yes how can I help you?"
"This is the daycare you called last Monday. We're so sorry we weren't able to answer."
"O-oh, it's completely fine. I wasn't surprised when no one picked up."
"Oh, what do you mean ma'am?" Sighing, she looked out the window to see Taehyung grabbing a small shovel, trying to remove the water from the puddle in the grass, which just made her smile bigger.
"My son has this...different body outlook than other kids, and when I usually describe it, they always hang up on me and never let me explain why."
"Oh, well we accept anyone for who they are, big or small. If you want we can meet in person so we can see if your son likes the environment."
"That would be great, thank you so much."
"Anytime ma'am. So how does 9:30 Thursday morning sound?"
"That sounds perfect, we'll be there."
"Ok then, have a good day Ms. Kim."
"You too." She softly answered before she hung up the phone, just in time to see her son walking back with a pout on his face.
Chuckling, she opened the door for him as she looked up at her with his cute puppy eyes.
"What's wrong my sweet baby?"
"Mama, the water won't gwo away. It's still in the pwuddle." The little boy whined, his mother only smiling at him before kissing his somehow wet forehead.
"I see you had a blast though, you got yourself wet." She commented, helping him with his little rainboots before she took off his jacket and shut the door.
"It was fwun Mama! You shwould join mwe next twime!"
"Oh baby, I wouldn't want to ruin the fun you're having by yourself, I'll just stay inside."
"Nwo Mama, you cwan play with mwe, I dwon't mind." Chuckling, his mother ruffled his fluffy hair before hugging his small frame.
"Mama loves you bunches baby."
"I lwove you two Mama."
