"Ugh, another visitor? I hope it's not Benny again" groaned Dora
Dora got up from where she was and headed toward the door.
As she opened it, she saw the familiar orange fur that she had seen just moments before
"Nick?! What are you doing here!" She asked harshly
"I-uhm... I was just wondering if you'd been in the forest lately? Like, uhm, eavesdropping on any conversations?" Asked Nick "Just to be sure..... your being a good girl???"
Dora stared at him dumbfounded, he was being so obvious! She decided to lie..
"No, I haven't. But uh, thanks for checking? Me and Boots have been here the whole day... making, uhm. Uhmmm.." she looked over at the counter and spotted a bowl "Soup! We were making soup! "
Nick looked blatantly relieved, "Oh, Neat! Mind if I have some?" He asked
"Yeah, we DO mind" interrupted Boots
"If I spent all day making soup, why would I share it with some ugly weasel?" Said boots whilst rolling his eyes
Dora glared at him and mouthed "we're supposed to be acting normal!"
"I am acting normal!" Mouthed boots back
"Uhm, that's okay I guess." Said Nick sadly
Dora felt kinda bad now, he only wanted soup.... Wait! No! He's tryna play me! Ughhh!! Why did she still swoon when she saw him? Why did her heart still try to beat out of her chest?
She just had to resist! Yeah, she-
Nick interrupted her thoughts "Hey Dora, do you think we could go get dinner together then? Since Boots doesn't want to share his soup?"
"UH-" Dora's face flushed, and she quickly looked for Boots for advice and he was shaking his head vigorously
"I- SURE!" Said Dora in a rush
"Sweet, I'll just go grab my coat from my cousin's- I mean, from MY house" said Nick, laughing nervously from his almost mistake.
"Yeah sure" replied Dora
When he left Boots got very angry
"WTF PUTA!!??? I freaking obviously said NO!!! Why did you accept??!!!" Yelled Boots
"I wanted to get more information on him and Swiper's plans! Geez Boots, I'm not THAT much of an idiot!" Said Dora, secretly lying because she did actually want dinner with Nick
"Ooohhhhhh, okay" said Boots "But I'm going with you"
"WHAT??! But-but then he'll get suspicious!" Said Dora frantically
"It's finneeee, I'll just hide in the bushes gurl" shrugged Boots
Just then, Nick sauntered back in, "Hey shawty, ready to go to our, DATE?" Asked Nick
