Chapter 24

SAM POV

"SELENA?!"

Selena and i jumped up in bed.

"Mom...um..." I couldn't get any words out. Selena held my arm and i took her hand.

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING WITH MY DAUGHTER SELENA?!"

"Mom don't freak out." I said.

Her face was beat red and a vein was popping out of her neck.

"Freak out?! How can i not freak out sam?! My daughter and bestfriend are in bed! NAKED!"

I looked at selena and she looked at me. We were both terrified.

I leaned down and got my tshirt off of the ground. I handed it to selena and she slid it on over her head. I took her hand and we stood up. I wrapped the blanket around me and mom was fuming. "Can you give us a minute?" I said.

She glared at us, "1 minute. I want to see you both downstairs." She said through gritted teeth and stomped off.

Selena was about to cry. I took her hands, "no no. Baby don't cry. It's okay! Nothing she says will change the way i feel about you!"

She looked at me with tears in her eyes. "I just don't want to lose you sam..."

I smiled and wiped her tears, "you won't. We will tell her how much we love eachother and maybe she'll understand. Okay? I promise i am not leaving you. Ever sel. I love you."

She smiled and sniffed, "i love you too." She whispered.

I kissed her softly and pulled on some sweats and a tee.

I handed her her favorite sweatpants of mine and she smiled and pulled them on. They are my grey ones from new york during the speak now tour.

We walked downstairs hand in hand and stood infront of mom.

She pointed to the couch and we sat down.

She sat in a chair across from us.

"Explain." Was all she said.

Selena gulped and i took her hand in mine and rubbed it.

Mom coughed fakely but i ignored it.

"I love her. Mom." I said.

She raised her eyebrow. "You what?" She said breathlessly.

I looked at selena and she was smiling at me. I smiled too and put my free hand ontop of ours that were clasped.

"I love her...i'm gay mom. And i am in love with selena." I said confidently.

Her mouth hung open in shock. "You're gay?"

I gulped and nodded, "i am. And nothing you say will make me change my mind about my sexuality or selena."

She looked at selena, "do you love her selena?"

She smiled at me and rubbed my arm, "i do. And i'm sorry taylor but i will not apologize for falling in love with sam."

Selena said looking into my eyes. I smiled and a tear streamed down my cheek.

"I love you too." I said.

She smiled and wiped my tear and kissed my cheek.

We looked at mom and she was still in shock.

"Mom?"

She looked up and rubbed her face with her hand. She breathed out.

"God i really don't know what to say. My best friend and daughter are in love...i just...i don't know what you want me to say here."
