"Professor knew we were coming." Susan says. We are standing at a train station stop in the middle of nowhere. "Maybe, we were all incorrectly labeled?" Edmund says, but it comes out as a question. We then hear a horse coming. Revealing a carriage with a lady in the front. "Ms. Macready?" Peter asks, unsure. "Yes. Is this all?" She says, rather snobby. We all nod, nervously. I start fiddling with my bracelet. I seem to zone out, as Edmund drags me into the carriage.

The ride is pretty short. The house is huge, and beautiful. It had a huge field, one I hope I can explore with Edmund. Oh! This will surely be amazing! My feet followed the others, I had zoned out but my feet kept moving. I heard Ms. Macready yelling at them, but I wasn't listening. I was looking at the mansion. For a place with only a Professor and Staff. It seemed like he always knew he would have company. "Come on, Harls." Edmund says, pulling me along. I finally tune back into the conversation. "One of you will have to share with the boys." Ms. Macready says to us girls. "I can." I simply say, smiling. "Of course you will. To hang out with Edmund!" Lucy jokes, one of the many ways she teases us. "Oh shut it." Edmund retorts, his face all red.

"This is the two spares. Girls on one side and boys and girl on other." Ms. Macready says, gesturing to the two sides. Me and the boys shuffle into one room. The girls walk into the other, teasing me the whole way. The boys dump everything out, even against my protests. "You guys have to clean all that up." I say, while sitting down on the bed, me and Edmund share. I grab a book and begin to lose myself in it. It seems to be about a magical land, Narnia. It seems beautiful, to read. All the mythical creatures and the prophecy.

They are three knocks on the door, revealing the three girls. "What happened here?" Susan says, gesturing to the mess, that only Peter is cleaning. "The boys did it." I simply say, looking back to my book. "Then why isn't Edmund helping?" Dean says, clearly confused. Edmund is laying on me letting me play with his hair while I read. "Well he's asleep so don't wake him." I say, pretty straightforward. "And why is that?" Lucy says, a smirk playing on her face. "Just leave the lovebirds be, Lu." Dean says, now teasing us too. I groan, trying to ignore their jabs. They always do that. Just because we are always hanging out and we do things like this, doesn't mean we like eachother. It doesn't, does it?

I put down my book once the girls have left. I just wanted to lay down and go to sleep. But, Peter had to be like the girls for a little. "Do you like him?" He asked from across the room. "He's a great friend." I simply say, trying to get the conversation over. "Really? Then why do you guys do that stuff?" He gestures to me and him. He is still laying on me. "We always did this. Why is it a big deal now?" I groan out, starting this year, that got really obsessive over our friendship or relationship. "Well, you guys are teenagers now. You guys are developing feelings now. When you guys were younger it was normal, but now it won't seem like it." Peter explains making me think. "Whatever. Just because your older doesn't mean you know everything." I mumble out, while laying down. I don't like Edmund! I might be getting older but those feelings aren't there. Atleast they aren't there for me. I then drift off.

"come on, harls! i know a great hiding spot." edmund says, while pulling me into a forest. he pulls me for a little while later before stopping at a huge tree. "oh, you can't be saying we have to climb this. you know my fear of heights." i say, shuddering at the thought. "it'll be alright, harls. when have i let you get hurt?" he says, smiling like he always does. "alright but don't let go of me." i say as i start to climb behind him.

"eddie. i'm scared." i say as we sit on a branch. he is holding onto me. "it'll be fine. i won't let you fall. you are too special to me to die." he whispers into my ear, making me shudder more. "i know. i could not lose you either." this time i feel him shudder as we both do when we talk about our feelings. "i can't lose you." i repeat.

We are now sitting in a extra room. Me and Edmund are laying under a chair. Peter, Susan, and Dean are playing a word game. Lucy is sitting in the windowsill while reading. Edmund nudges me to show what he was writing. He has been carving things into the chair. He shows me what it was.

I look at him and smile. We look pinkeys and he goes back to carving. "Is it latin?" Dean ask, sounding bored. "Is it Latin for worst game ever?" Edmund says making me giggle. Susan sends me a death stare, making me laugh harder. My laughing sends Edmund into a laughing state. Everyone just smiles at us, the two bestfriends who do everything together. Even laugh at Susan.

"Can we play hide and seek?" Lucy interrupts. Edmund groans and I grumble. The last time we played hide and seek was in the forest. "But we are already having so much fun." Peter says sarcastically. Lucy begs him to play and me and Edmund beg him not to. "1,2,3." He starts counting. Edmund groans but pulls me with him. He sees Lucy find a spot but pulls her out of it. "We were here first." He says, while Lucy runs away. He pulls me into him. We both are smashed together. My face close to his. He goes red at how close we are. I start thinking back to my conversation with Peter. He can't be right. I won't let him. "I'm back! I'm alright!" Lucy yells coming back to where we are. "Shh. He's coming." Edmund hisses out at her. "I'm not sure you three quite get this game." Peter says, at which Dean rushes in. "What's happening?" She says and Peter shrugs. "Weren't you wondering where I was?" Lucy says, clearly confused. "That's why he was seaking you." Edmund says at which I zone out. They continue to talk but I walk away. I walk to the kitchen, to clear my mind.

"What's wrong?" Dean walks in and asks me. "It's just something Peter said last night." Her face lights up. "Oh, the stuff about how your getting older and blah blah blah." I nod while sipping hot chocolate. "It's true." Susan walks in too. "Peter is a mastermind at this stuff." Susan says and Lucy walks in. "Girl talk!" Lucy exclaims. I groan but look at them. "I don't think I like him. I mean his my bestfriend. He is always there for me. He knows me better than I do myself. Sometimes we fight but we can never stay mad at eachother. The only time we weren't friends was because of a girl." I say and the girls light up.

"A girl?" Dean says, jumping up and down. "Yeah, he didn't tell me he liked her. I got real mad but I don't know why." I state, the girls look at me with a knowing face. "You like him or you liked him." Lucy simply says, I groan. "This is too much for me." I get up and walk away. I walk by the library to hear someone crying.

I find Edmund in a corner crying. "Eddie! What's wrong?" I sit down next to him. "It's just my family expects me to be this guy who knows how to deal with everything. But I don't know how." I pull him into a hug while he crys harder. "I know. I know. It's okay." I calm him down. "Promise you won't leave me?" He says holding his pinky out. "I couldn't if I wanted to." I wrap my pinky around his. I stare into his eyes his back at mine. "Thank you." We both say.
