THE thought of losing him was the scariest thing that came to Louis' mind. He didn't want to lose Harry, but that night he did. It felt like a bag of knives being thrown on him. Like someone was telling him that the world was going to end. Losing Harry was the epitome of heartbreaking. It was like having your heart shatter in pieces. Louis didn't want to lose him. He didn't want to lose his world, but it seemed that he did something to God to make him want to bite him in arse with the worst consequence ever created.❌ ❌ ❌
That night Louis had no idea what was going to happen. Neither did Harry. At least, Louis had supposed. They sat on the loveseat, cuddled together, ready to watch a film. Harry picked the movie and that movie was Titanic. The story of a love lost in a tragic event. Only, that's what would happen very soon to them. Ironic, wasn't it?
As the movie neared the end, with Rose setting Jack free into the depths of the ocean, Harry's breathing started to become heavy. Louis brushed it off as heartburn from the pizza Harry had just devoured, but his worrisome attitude took over when Harry started to groan in pain.
"H-haz?" Louis stuttered, beyond worried for the boy.
"Lou, I can't tell you what's going on," Harry paused, mid-sentence, clutching his heart.
"Go to our room. Under the-the bed is, um, uh, a box. Open it after I d-die." Harry said, taking slow breaths.
"Die?" Louis asked incredulously.
"Yes, just go." Harry said, shooing him away.
Louis didn't want to obey his commands. He wanted to stay with Harry and try to save him, but this gut feeling was telling him to find the box. And he did. Louis looked under the bed and there it was. A shoe box with cardboard paper around it and designs all over it.
"Open it after I die."
Louis wouldn't open it until it was necessary. He ran back into the living room with a red Harry lying on the ground. Louis gently put the box down and ran over to him.
He tried to give him mouth-to-mouth. To keep him breathing, but Harry wouldn't let him.
"Lou, I'm dying. I'm sorry this h-has to be the end. I-I love you. So m-m-much." Harry whispered, before taking his last breaths and closing his eyes to rest in peace.
"No. No. No! Harry, wake up. C'mon! Wake up! Please. I love you so much. Please." Louis pleaded, but he wouldn't wake up.
This was his goodbye. His way of showing that he wasn't coming back. Louis lost him that night and his love was nonreturnable.

Louis thought that that was the last he'd ever know or see of Harry. Hell, he saw him die, but he was so wrong because now he was being haunted. Not by just any spirit, but Harry. Harry's spirit.
Every night, only one thing would leave Harry's mouth as Louis drifted off to sleep.
"You're mine. No one else's. I love you."
And the worst thing; Louis fell for someone and if Harry ever found out, he'd not only kill Louis, but he'd kill his boyfriend too. Harry was possessive. Harry was vindictive. Harry was simply scary and Louis could never take the chance of loving someone when the spirit of his ex would be out to get him.
