LOUIS sighed as Harry told Liam that he was his worst nightmare. There was just no getting through to that man. Harry was getting on Louis' nerves at this point. First of all, he shouldn't have even showed up there and second of all, he definitely shouldn't have introduced himself as a ghost.Liam was flipping shit and Louis was losing my mind over the whole situation. He had four children running about, a half-conscious man, and a ghost. That surely goes for a great Saturday afternoon.
"So, I'm annoying you, am I?" Harry asked, bringing Louis back to reality.
"Stop reading my thoughts!" Louis whined.
"Stop being so secretive and I won't have to!" Harry argued back and in that moment, honestly all Louis wanted to do was slap him straight in the face.
"Then slap me!" Harry yelled.
"Shut up!" Louis exclaimed.
"Can someone please explain what the hell is going on?" Liam asked, breaking them out of their ridiculous banter.
Louis looked to the absolutely confused Liam and he honestly felt really bad for him because a) Harry was scaring the shit out of him and b) they were intruding his home and his family. He deserved, at least, an explanation.
"Bullshit." Harry muttered, crossing his arms over his chest.
"Shut up and let me talk." Louis glared at the dead man.
"So, yeah. Um, it's a long story, Liam." Louis trailed off.
"I have time." Liam said, determined to hear the story.
Louis sat next to him on the couch, while Harry glared at us from across the room. "Well, Harry is a ghost, yeah. And um, basically, a few weeks after his death, I opened a box I found and as soon as I read the letter, he was with me again. I don't really understand why or how and neither does he, but we just kind of go by it day by day, you know."
"So, neither of you understand why Harry is here?" Liam asked.
Harry and Louis both reply simultaneously, "No."
"And neither of you know if Harry's going to 'go into the light'?" Liam asked, putting emphasis around going into the light.
"No."
"Well, then. This has definitely been an interesting chain of events." Liam said, sighing a bit.
"Definitely." Louis said. Harry said nothing in return, being the absolute hermit crab he was.
"I'm not a Mediterranean sea animal, you know." Harry said, scowling at Louis.
"You kind of look like one, at this point." Louis said, smirking at him, causing him to glare at his boyfriend even more.
"Wait, so he can read your thoughts?" Liam asked, referring to Harry.
"Yeah. It gets really annoying." Louis said even louder than he needed just to spite Harry. The little fucker.
"I can still hear you," Harry exclaimed. " 'sides, I'm not the one who does the fucking."
"Huh?" Liam scrunched his eyebrows together in confusion.
"I called him a little fucker and he made a joke out of it. He does that with everything." Louis said, clearing up the situation to which Liam just said, "oh."
It was definitely not what Louis envisioned my Saturday afternoon to be like. I expected it to be normal. Well, as normal as normal can be when you have a jealous dead boyfriend living in your flat. This was absolutely ridiculous. Louis shouldn't have had to endure this. He should have a dead boyfriend. Not a ghost boyfriend that haunts his every move.
