Your dress was as beautiful as it was uncomfortable. Emily slapped your hand as you reached to scratch at the lace.

"You're going to ruin the pins if you keep that up." JJ smiled as she helped secure the final pins to your veil. After her comments during your pregnancy, your relationship was stunted. That was until Genevieve was born. Jennifer had helped you alot in the first months while you were getting used to being new parents. The two of you had gotten closer during that time.

"I'm just nervous." You said, sheepishly.

"I noticed." Emily smirked. "If it makes you feel any better, that kid loves you more than anything. You could walk down the aisle with pajamas and he'd probably still cry." You chuckled at that.

You turned when you heard the door open and smiled when you saw it was Penelope with your 3 year old daughter in tow. "I have one fresh flower girl for you." She says when she's closer. Your daughter immediately makes grabby hands for you to pick her up which you do, despite Emily's protest about your dress.

"Thanks again for watching her last night, Pen." You say, which she immediately brushes off. "Were you good for Aunt Penny?" You asked, your daughter nodded fastly.

"Talked my ear off about elephants but she was great just like always." Garcia said ruffling her unruly brown curls slightly. Despite carrying her nine months and giving birth to her, your daughter was a spitting image of her father. With her soft brown curls and button nose she scrunched up when thinking, the two were practically twins.

"You can tell elephants apart by their ears, mama."

"Can you? I didn't know!" You say, indulging your daughter. She was like her father in the way she loved to share new information she learned the second she learned it. You're interrupted by Hotch knocking softly on the door before entering. With both of your parents dead, you had asked Hotch to walk you which he excitedly accepted.

"Y/N, you look beautiful." He complimented. You smiled and thanked him. "We're about ready to get started, if you are."

"Let's get this over with." You smile, more than excited to just become Mrs. Reid.

The ceremony was gorgeous, just like you always thought it would be. The two of you were married in the Daughters of the American Revolution Library in Washington DC, October 5th. Emily was right, Spencer did cry when you came down the aisle and you couldn't help the tears falling from your face as you looked at the beautiful man in front of you. Rossi, who graciously paid for the ceremony also married the two of you. Jokes were made about your less than conventional union, which the two of you laughed and brushed off but he wrapped up by saying that two people who are as perfect for each other as you two were will find their way to each other, no matter the path there.

The reception was gorgeous as well. Everyone was eating and drinking and being merry. Laughter could be heard throughout the historical yet gorgeous building. You and Spencer were seated at the wedding party table, you listened as Spencer happily explained different wedding tradition origins as you cut your daughters food. Garcia had offered to take over, exclaiming it was your wedding day, you should take a break. You smiled and shook your head because in that moment, being in the middle of your now-husband's excited ramblings and your daughter excited giggles as she ate was your favorite part of the entire day besides actually being announced Mrs. Spencer Reid.

Soon, your first dance came up so you relinquished your daughter to her Godmother and allowed Spencer to lead you to the dance floor. Spencer had been a nervous wreck about your first dance and you could tell he was still a little nervous but you mouth a quick It's just us to him as the beginning chords of Dream a Little Dream of me played. Spencer breathed a quick sigh of relief before sweeping you in a tight embrace and gently swaying you to the gentle sounds of Mama Cass.
