The more Helia ran, the more anxious he got. He kept praying non-stop to locate his wife soon, especially alive. His heartbeat was becoming higher and louder, he thought it would jump out from his chest at any second at this point as well as his breathing getting heavier.
Earlier, he got singled out from his group intentionally so they would assist others in other ongoing battles and guard some hallways to be alert of any coming Trix. Or any other person with evil intentions.
Helia was able to handle Darcy for a while before she has supposedly spoken to someone telepathically and left him, so he's clueless about where she had gone though it didn't matter. It was time to look for his wife.
So far the Specialists have failed communication with Sky, they had no idea where he went or his current condition as Brandon lost sight of him. Stella, Aisha and Musa were successfully found, although were unconscious, which means Bloom, Flora and Tecna were still desired to be found.
But time was running out and soon they would evacuate the tower so the Specialists were doing their bests to hurry as fast as they could.
“Helia, we need you ASAP!”
The Specialist panted, running from the corner jumping to another corner from the never-ending maze he was stuck on and could not find a way out.
He annoyedly tapped on the earpiece on his right ear as he leaned forwards with his hands on his knees. “I need to get her first--”
“Dammit-- Helia! We might certainly die if you won't come here!” Riven's cranky voice was followed by a couple of explosions one after the another and they seemed pretty powerful - it worried Helia.
“Hello?! Riven?”
All he heard were muffled noises, therefore he could not get a hold of his friends and ended the connection. He had to think quick: turn around to support the Specialists or continue running for his wife.
And so, he ran as the bloody war has begun as it seemed.
He scampered and ran, ran and ran - it was comparable to a never-ending maze. Helia did not want Valiana and the Trix to win because once he finds Flora and checks how she's doing, they will pay for what they did with no pity whatsoever.
But he had to find her first.
Helia turned on a corner as he started slowing down to catch his breath. Exactly at that moment, he lifted his head and saw a cell. He trotted over and that's when he saw her.
“Flora!”
The young man did not care if he was tired anymore, he finally found his wife. His first and forever love, which means he could never bear to find out she was not here any longer.
The nature fairy was lying on the floor, on the far-right corner, on the opposite of the small window. Her back was turned on to him, so Helia could not even get to see her face.
The cell's bars were the only thing distancing between the two. Helia started pushing it with all he has got considering there was no lock. It was not working.
He cursed under his breath. “Damn it.”
That did not make him want to give up in any way. So, he used his glove instead to experiment breaking the bars so he could break into them. It was not working either.
His attempted strategies were failing the more seconds passed and he could start hearing the explosions getting closer.
Anger drove over him as he started shoving and striking at the bars too, hopefully, to crack them into parts. Yet again, it was not helping. It came across that the bars were not the thing stopping him but some kind of invisible barrier.
