Y/n's POV:
"Ok Y/n you can do this just go out there and have fun" I mumbled as I walked towards the group of boys most of them looked up at me I saw the blonde boy from earlier and walked over "Hey blondie" "Hey Y/n" "thought you didnt do names" making us both burst into laughter. "So blondie am I ever gonna get to know your real name" I said as i turned to look to him.
"The names Newt" He said with a warm smile.
"Like the lizard" I questioned. He looked at me and we both burst into laughs "Yes like the lizard but don't call me that!". "Too late... Lizard".
"Stop!" He chuckled out.
"No I don't think I will lizard" I said as we both burst out laughing I go quieter as my thoughts trail off as soon as I see no other then the keeper of the runners "God Y/n you are here a day and you are already drooling over a boy" I thought to myself before Newt snapped me out of it.
"Got a thing for Minho I see" I snapped my head around turning to look at him "Wh- wha- what nooooooo of course not I just met him" I spoke trying so hard to hide my red cheeks but it was to late Newt had already noticed.
"Y/n I seen you blushing earlier and if it makes you feel better when Minho walked away he started blushing" "Wait really?" I questioned him trying to figure out if he was serious or not.
"Yes really Y/n you should ask him out" "YE NO THANKS" I said as I got up to get a drink.
"WHYYYYYYY NOT Y/N?" I could hear Newt shouting from the distance I just ignored him and laughed to myself as I made my way over to Frypan. "Hey greenie you settling in alright".
"Ye I am thanks Fry can I just get some water please?"
"Of course coming right up" He spoke before turning away from me.
"Not a fan of Gallys drink huh" I knew straight away who it was I turned around only to be staring into Minhos dark brown eyes.
"Not really no" I spoke trying not to fumble over my words "You'll get used to it you know" "not so sure I will but I'll take your word for it" He just smirked as a response omg I just met him and I can feel myself falling for him. Just as Minho opened his mouth to say something else Fry came back "Here is your water greenie".
"Thanks Fry see you later bye Minho" I walked away from the runner my shoulder lightly brushing past his I just sat down beside Newt to continue watching the fights.
Minhos POV:
When Y/n walked away her shoulder lightly brushing off of mine I let out a light chuckle turn to see her sitting down beside Newt watching the fighting ring after a few seconds I turn back to fry "Way to ruin the moment fry" "Sorry Minho" he said as we both just laughed and I turned away walking back to where I was sitting.
I started to zone out after watching Gally fighting until I heard him say "Well greenie wanna see what your made of?" I jolted my head up to look at Y/n who just handed her water to Newt.
"Lets go big man!" was all i could hear her say through all of the gladers shouting my blood was starting to boil if he hurts her I'll kill him.
I snapped out of my thoughts when Alby nudged me saying "She'll be fine she is a big girl who can handle herself" seeing the clear look of frustration on my face.
"You better be right alby" was all I could think before turning my eyes back to Y/n in the ring.
