Y/n's POV:
I wake up to this loud banging sound I look around not knowing where I am it almost looks like an elevator when it finally comes to a stop I look up confused to see at least 40 boys standing above me. There was a lot of whispering boys calling dibs on me which I felt a bit uncomfortable with. I was about to say something when a tall green eyed boy jumped down and grabbed me.
"Day one Greenie rise and shine" and with that he went to grab my hand but I pulled it back and got out of the box myself I may be a girl but I know one thing for sure that I am not weak and I don't want to look like a damsel in distress in front of a group of boys. When I looked back into the box to see the green eyed boy looking a bit confused on how I refused to take his hand but I didn't care I looked around and saw these huge grey stone walls I started to get all panicky and flustered I saw what looked like an opening in the walls and darted for it.
"We got a runner" I heard a few boys shouting while I was running. "SOMEONE STOP HER" a blonde boy shouted. When I came close to the doors I felt someone knock into me I fell onto the ground hitting my head off of a rock knocking me unconscious.
Minhos POV:
I had just got back from running the maze when i heard the box alarm for a new greenie I wasnt that bothered to look over so I went to the kitchen for some water instead until I heard some of the boys screaming and shouting I turned to see the greenie running towards the maze I quickly ran to the maze chasing them when they got close to the doors I knocked them over relising that it was a girl a swirl of regret came onto me I tried to hide it from the others.
She was just laying there unconscious I felt guilty but it was better then her being in the maze a few seconds after all the boys came rushing over "We said stop her not kill her Minho" Gally spoke "Shut it you shank its better then her running into the maze with the grievers" Gally just rolled his eyes at me and he started glaring at me I felt my blood boil it looked like he was going to lunge at me until newt spoke up "Alright lets just get her to the medjacks JEFF CLINT! and try not to kill each other while I'm gone" he spoke staring at me and Gally.
I started to follow Newt over to the medjacks I don't know why but I have this sudden urge like I need to protect her at all times its weird because the only thing i know about her is that shes a girl and the greenie but I feel like there's some sort of connection between us maybe we were friends before the maze who knows?
