"𝐖𝐇𝐀𝐓 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐅𝐔𝐂𝐊 𝐃𝐈𝐃 𝐖𝐄 𝐉𝐔𝐒𝐓 𝐖𝐈𝐓𝐍𝐄𝐒𝐒?" Bakugo asks annoyed to the blushing navy haired male.
Iida is currently having a mental heart attack, I mean how couldn't he? She said "I love you" and he know it wasn't a real one but still, hearing the words slip from her soft lips just for him is making his heart beat erratically.
"Iida snap out of it!" Mina yells as she snaps her finger next to his ear. He shakes his head and wakes up from his fantasy of her confessing her love genuinely... but that's all it is... a fantasy.
"Now since Aizawa's gone... we have a few questions." Kaminari says suspiciously. Everyone has a few questions for him and even more for (Y/n), but mostly about her beef with god.
Iida is pushed down into his desk chair by Mina as Sero, Kirishima, Kaminari, Mineta, Hagakure, and surprisingly Tokoyami surround his desk. The rest either watch from afar or continue with the work like Momo and Todoroki.
"What is your relationship with Ms. (L/n)?" Mina asks as she slides on a trench coat she begged Momo to make her to 'get her into the role'.
"Ashido, are you interrogating me?" Iida asks unbothered since he knows he can find a way out of this situation.
"Yes, now answer the question." She slams her hands on the desk in front of him and he doesn't flinch, he just finds it amusing that people care this much over a plausible relationship.
"I am (Y/n)'s friend." Is all he says in response.
"BULLSHIT!" Bakugo yells, wait since when is he interested in this? Whatever doesn't matter if the blonde boy is secretly interested in his future bestie's love life.
"It's the truth, we are just friends." Iida says, and it's basically the truth. They haven't done anything that can be 100% labeled as a romantic action so he's in the clear in a sense.
"Friends don't rub each others thighs." Kaminari whispers just to Iida and Iida sweat drops. Oh fuck he might be screwed.
"I believe you are trying to imply I have a romantic relationship with (Y/n), which is not true. I think that you are forgetting that as flirty as she may be, she doesn't like the idea of romantic relationships. She likes to annoy me, but that doesn't mean she loves me." He replies, and a part of him realizes how true it is. She doesn't like the idea of loving someone, and he's not sure himself if he's able to change that.
"But do you like her?" Hagakure asks curiously.
Iida rises from his chair and glares at the people surrounding him and sighs. The coldness in his eyes he has to force when talking about a girl he's in love with makes him shudder. The blank stare speaks a thousand words, but the main word being 'No'.
