YOU'RE DIFFERENT (NarutoxReader)

~Chapter 4:night~

I opened the door and saw Naruto. He was so cute. His hand was rubbing the back of his neck while his other hand was in his pocket. His hair was a little messy and he was wearing orange shorts and a white t-shirt. The first thing you did when you saw him was blush. You tried your best to hide your tomato red cheeks.

Naruto laughed nervously and said "my neighbors are arguing and I really can't sleep so would it be ok if I umm maybe stayed here for the night..?"

"Of course Naruto, come in" you said.

You both avoided each other a bit. It felt a little awkward. You both sat on separate ends of the couch looking down. You noticed Naruto wasn't smiling like usual. He was just sitting head down with a frown on his face, which made you feel really bad.

Finally you broke the awkward silence and decided to say something. "umm naruto?"

"Yes (Y/N)?"

"I'm really sorry.", you admitted.

"what why are you sorry? I'm the one who should be sorry!"

"Naruto it wasn't fair for me to tell you off like that when you were just trying to help."

"Listen (Y/N), I never want you to feel forced to say anything you don't want to." He placed his hand on your thigh. "Just know I'll always be here for you."

You looked up at him. He looked at you with a small smile with his hand still on your thigh. When your (E/C) eyes met his, his cheeks became a light shade of pink.

"thank you Naruto. I don't know what I'd do without you."

You both talked for a bit before deciding it was time to sleep. You gave him a pillow and blanket and he slept on the couch while you slept in your bed. "goodnight (Y/N)", he called out. "goodnight Naruto. See you in the morning", you replied.

As you lay in your bed, you couldn't help but think about how Naruto was in your apartment right now. Just outside of your room. His face filled your thoughts to the point where you couldn't sleep. Finally your eyes shut and next thing you knew, you were fast asleep.
