NARUTO P.O.V
I loved my visit in the sand village. I also really missed Gaara. I'm really proud of him. But I feel terrible for leaving (Y/N) alone and not telling her anything. I definitely owe her an apology.
As I was hopping through trees at night I heard someone call my name. I could barely hear anything let alone see much but I definitely heard my name. An other time now.
"help..me..."
The person kept taking deep breaths in between each word that was spoken.
I followed the noise and there I saw, a body laying on the ground covered in blood. I ran towards it as fast as I could.
Wait..No. It can't be..."(Y/N)?"
"Naruto..."
"OH MY GOD (Y/N)!!!?? WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED?! WHY ARE YOU HERE!!??"
"I..came for. you..You weren't t-there this morning.. so...I tried catching up to you *cough* but man attacked...*cough*"
"(Y/N) please don't speak.."
Sh*t! How could I let this happen. I'm so stupid. I should've woken her up this morning to tell her. No time to be regretting things that already happened. I need to get her to Lady Tsunade before she...dies.
(Y/N) P.O.V
My body is slowly getting numb. I've lost so much blood already. It's getting harder and harder to breathe.
Naruto picked me up marriage style and held on to me tighter than he's ever held me before. He hopped through the trees with such speed. I've never seen anyone this fast before.
He kept looking down at me while I just stared at him. This is the last time I'll see his face. I'm sure of it.
I coughed out blood and groaned to the pain I felt in my stomach clenching my teeth. He looked back down at me and this time I saw pain in his eyes.
Tears started falling from his face.
"Hang on (Y/N). I'll get you to Lady Tsunade so she can heal you." , Naruto spoke.
Before I could think, words just slipped out of my mouth. "It's no use. I'm going to die. Look at how much blood I'm losing. I can't even breathe properly. Naruto these are going to be my last words I-"
Naruto cut me off, "Stop it. Don't say that. Please." Tears started streaming down his face.
I used all the energy I had left to move my arm and place it on his cheek. Tears were now falling down from my face.
"Naruto, let me speak. These..*cough* these are my final words. Naruto I.. I love you"
Right after I spoke those words I fell unconscious.
NARUTO P.O.V
She... she what?
Before I could say anything, she fell unconscious. Her body suddenly felt heavy in my arms. I couldn't help the tears. I cried. I've never cried this much before.
I knew she couldn't hear me but I spoke anyways.
"(Y/N).. I've always loved you. You never treated me differently. Not once. And you were my first real friend. From that day on.. I knew I could never lose you and I had to hold on to you. But.. I never thought you felt the same way.. Guess everyone's right; I am dumb."
(Y/N) P.O.V
I woke up and looked around. Where am I? I saw Naruto sleeping on a chair next to the bed I was laying in.
That's when I realized I confessed to Naruto. OH NO I THOUGHT I WAS DEAD. oh no this is.. embarrassing.
I sat up on the bed and that's when I got dizzy. Geez how long was I unconscious for?
I grabbed my head in pain while I heard Naruto slowly waking up.
"(Y/N)!!", he said.
He walked over to me and stated "lie down." He lightly touched my head and my lower back and slowly placed me laying on my back.
"What happened to me? Where am I?", I asked.
"You've been unconscious for 3 days. Luckily I arrived on time and Lady Tsunade and Sakura healed you. It was a long process though. You are now in a hospital.", he answered.
"I-I'm sorry Naruto.", I spoke.
"What!? Why are you sorry. I should've woken you up and told you where I was going. I'm the one who's supposed to be apologizing. I'm the one who's sorry.", he replied.
"Please tell me next time.", I turned to my side facing the opposite direction of Naruto.
He sat on the bed and placed his hand on my shoulder. "I was worried about you..ya know?", he silently said.
I turned over on my back and grabbed his shoulder to pull myself sitting up. I pulled his collar and gave him a hug.
Once you both let go, Naruto made intense eye contact with you before saying, "oh I almost forgot.. (Y/N), I-"...
As he was speaking Shikamaru burst into the room...
