~Chapter 3: apologizing~

NARUTO P.O.V

I couldn't sleep. After I left (Y/N) house last night, I never felt worse. She obviously not opening up but I can't force her to tell me anything. I made her feel uncomfortable and I feel so bad. So I decided today I'm gonna go to her place and apologize and hopefully she forgives me and spends the day with me. I got out of bed, got dressed into my black and orange ninja outfit. While I was eating my Ichiraku already made ramen for breakfast, I heard my neighbors arguing. They were an older couple and always so grumpy. Constant yelling; why don't they divorce.

I left my house and went on my way to (Y/N). I made it and to my surprise I saw Shikamaru, her best friend. "Hey Shikamaru", I yelled.

"oh hey Naruto.. are you seeing (Y/N) today"

"yeah last night we kinda.. never mind", I said.

" oh well.. we were gonna train together today like we usually do...", Shikamaru stated.

I was about to turn around and walk home but then I heard the door open.

(Y/N) P.O.V

Today I didn't feel like getting up. I wanted to apologize to Naruto for the way I acted but I was so nervous. I don't know if I ruined our friendship. I decided to finally get out of bed and I got ready for the day. I think I'll just apologize tonight because I need to train with Shikamaru now. I opened my door and I saw not only Shikamaru but Naruto as well. Oh no this is bad...

"umm hey (Y/N). I think I'm gonna umm I think I'll go." ,Naruto said.

Before I could say anything he left running leaving me and Shikamaru. "Hey Shika ready to train?"

"yeah let's go" he said. I ran up to him and he placed his arm around my shoulder. We walked to the training grounds.

When we were there we decided to do a one on one match. We started by using taijutsu. I kicked his stomach and he flew back. He quickly got up and started to use his shadow possession jutsu. Before it could reach me, I activated my Asuki and he froze. Still frozen, I ran to him and pulled out a kunai and placed it next to his neck. "I win.", I told him.

"why can't you let me win sometimes", he said now able to move since I deactivated my Asuki.

It was now evening and we'd been training all day. We both decided to go our separate ways so I walked home. I was so tired and all day I couldn't get Naruto off my mind. I just wasn't ready to apologize cuz I'd feel so bad if I saw him now and I'd breakdown. So instead I decided to watch a movie. By the time it finished it was really dark outside so I made myself a small snack and sat back down on my couch to start reading a book.

NARUTO P.O.V

I feel like a coward. I just ran away. All day I've been sitting on my couch reflecting. Why am I such an idiot. What is wrong with me. 

My neighbors were yelling again right now. I can't take this anymore. I turned over to my side now on my bed and tried to fall asleep. 

" I hate you dumbass" "shut up you b*tch!" "I'll kill you one day just you wait!"

I can't take it anymore. I can't sleep. They keep yelling and arguing but tonight it's so much worse. I can't sleep. I got up and left my condo. I was now walking in the empty streets wearing a white t-shirt with orange shorts. I can't stay there tonight.

Out of ideas I decided to go to (Y/N). I didn't really have anywhere else to go and this was a great opportunity to apologize.

(Y/N) P.O.V

I was really bored. I didn't feel like reading and whatever I did, Naruto wouldn't leave my mind. 

All of a sudden I heard a knock on my door and went to go answer.
