"Hey kid!" Susan yelled as Aella dropped the mugs. She rushed to Aella and put her hand on her shoulder, making her break eye contact with Charles Xavier.

"Oh I'm sorry Susan." She mumbled as the two dropped to their knees to help pick up the broken mugs.

Aella glanced up and saw Charles turn away from her, with Hank by his side, and a tall scruffy looking man pushing him back towards the two women on the ground. After a moment Susan and Aella stood and placed the broken mugs in the trash.

"What can I get you gentlemen?" Susan asked quickly.

The three men looked between each other, the tall scruffy man rolled his eyes at the two next to him. "Aella Garnier?" He asked looking to the women standing by the back door. "We need your help."

Aella looked between Hank and Charles. Charles didn't make eye contact with her, hiding behind his sunglasses. She shook her head, "No, no I'm... that's not me anymore."

"Aella what's going on?" Susan asked walking to her side, eyeing the three men in their cafe.

"Just some old coworkers and their friend." She grumbled, "Please leave." She said sternly.

Hank stepped forward, looking at Susan for a moment, "Please Aella, we need your help."

Aella turned to Hank and then looked to Charles, seeing him look to her behind his sunglasses. They locked eyes again before Aella turned around, "No Hank. Please leave me alone."

"Aella-" Hank started.

"It's time for you guys to leave, now!" Susan said stepping forward.

The three men mumbled to themselves. Aella heard Charles speak, "I told you she wouldn't help us."

She closed her eyes for a moment, "I'm surprised you're here." Aella growled.

The three men stopped and looked to Susan, as if to ask permission to stay for a moment. Aella looked to Susan who watched the men closely.

"I'm here for Raven, not you." Charles said.

Aella stuck her nose up at him, she looked to the other two men for an answer. "Raven is in trouble. We need you to help stop her from-" the tall man started but glanced to Susan.

Aella put her head down and looked to Susan. "She doesn't know." She said referring to Susan.

"Aella what's going on?" Susan asked looking frightened.

Aella stepped closer to her friend, "I lied to you, I'm sorry." She looked to the men, "I'm uh... well-"

"CIA." Hank said.

"Yeah, I used to work for them."

Susan looked to Aella, sceptical of what they had just said. "So, your like an agent?"

Aella half nodded, "Sure, we'll go with that."

Susan nodded, looking back to the three men. "You should go Aella." She said softly, "They need you more than I do."

Aella sighed and looked to the three men. "I'll be back sometime Susan, I promise."

Susan nodded to Aella and watched as she rushed to the back room and grabbed her coat and keys. She said her final goodbyes and brush past the three men, out into the street of New York.

"Aella wait!" The scruffy man yelled as he walked next to her.

"What do you want? The three of you just ruined a good thing I had in my life." Aella said walked briskly down the street, the three men struggling to keep up.

"I'm Logan, I'm from the future." The scruffy one said.

Aella stopped, people passing them in the street, the sound of the city filled the air. She laughed and looked to Charles and Hank, "And you believe this?" The two looked to each other. "This is ridiculous." She mumbled before storming off.

"Wait!" Hank yelled after her, walking next to her. "Please Aella. Raven needs our help!" Aella stopped again.

She looked at the street before turning back to the men. "What'd she do?"

"She hasn't done it yet." Charles said, "We have to stop her from ever doing it."

Aella gave him a puzzling look, "I think we should go somewhere private for this conversation." Logan said grabbing her arm.

The three men and Aella soon entered her apartment. She threw off her coat and rubbed her eyes, preparing herself for what she was going to be told. They all gathered in the living room, sitting on the couches, Aella at her desk, facing the three.

"In a few days, Raven is going to kill Doctor Trask, he's going to take her DNA to help him create a weapon called Sentinels." Logan said.

"But we have to stop here before she does that." Charles said leaning back in his seat.

Aella looked to her hands, "How can I trust you?"

Logan looked to Charles and Hank, he put his fist up and bone looking claws came from his fists. Aella waved him off, "I know you're a mutant, I can sense it from you," she sighed, "but how can I trust you."

"Because Charles and Erik sent me back here."

"Together?" She questioned, Logan nodded. "I would never agree to that." She scuffed.

"I'm their last chance kid." Logan said standing up, "I've seen so many friends die to these things. Charles told me, that you were important to this mission. And I'm keeping my word to him."

"You believe this?" Aella looked to Hank and Charles who said nothing. "Hm." She hummed, "If you had your powers..." she looked to Charles.

"You wouldn't understand." Charles mumbled.

"Oh I do." She said softly, "but you shut me out!" Her voice cracked. She looked around the room and shook her head. "May I?" She gestured towards Logan's head.

He nodded and Aella stood up, approaching him she could smell the smell of fancy cigars from him. She stood in front of him and reached her hands up and closed her eyes. She could feel his emotions, feeling the loss of friends and someone he once loved. She could feel the power and importance of this mission.

"If this works, she'd be here, she'd be alive." Aella heard a voice echo through Logan's head.

Aella opened her eyes after feeling overwhelmed by the emotions and pain in Logan, which he hid very well. She looked up to him and blinked a few times.

"I'll help you." She said turning away, "But once we're done, I want to go home." She turned to Charles, "This home. My own home." She said gesturing around her apartment.

"Deal." Charles said standing up quickly, glaring at the girl.
