Headlights (Kellic)

Fight!!

Kellin watches as the hands on the clock move as slow as a snail, just waiting for his last class of the day to just be over.

Five..more..minutes..

Kellin jumps as the classroom door opens abruptly, a random kid jumping into the room, laughing and soon followed by another person.

"THERES A FIGHT DOWN THE HALL!!"

Kellin watches as his classmates jump out of their chairs, running out the door and all disappearing from behind the wall next to the doorway. Kellin and a few other kids remain in their chairs. Kellin bites his lip and contemplates his next move before rolling his eyes.

"Fvck it." Kellin jumps out of his chair too before following the crowd of people down the hall gathered around, scooting through to get a good angle. Kellin watches as two people scuffle, both getting in good punches before one person body slams the other.

"Damnit!" Kellin watches as the one person climbs on top of the other, punching the person trapped under them before being pushed off by a random person.

"Come on Vic! Stop! Damn!" Kellin watches as the tall guy from earlier pushes "Vic" away from the person laying on the floor, despite Vic shouting and pushing him away.

Kellin and Vic both make eye contact, Vic making a angry face before pushing tall guy off of him and stomping away as he punches a locker in frustration.

*brrrrring*

Kellin walks back to his classroom to grab his school stuff again, getting ready to grab his things to go home. Kellin watches as students groan while the teacher stands in front of the now closed door.

"NO! ALL OF THOSE WHO DECIDED TO WATCH THAT FIGHT ALL HAVE DETENTION IN MY ROOM NOW! I KNOW WHO DID AND WHO DID NOT. SO ALL OF YOU CAN SIT DOWN. INCLUDING YOU.  NOW! IF I CALL YOUR NAME YOU MAY LEAVE."

Kellin and others groan as they sit down and show obvious annoyance.

"Well nothing forced y'all to do any of that huh? Be mad at yourself, not me."

Kellin pulls out his phone and texts his mom before placing his head down in his arms and falling asleep.

*1 hour later*

Kellin wakes up to the scooching of chairs and chatter of his classmates before waking up and remembering where he was and why and quickly grabbing his stuff and joining his classmates in leaving.

Kellin walks out of the school, walking down the school entrance lot and down the sidewalk.

"Hey."

Kellin turns and sees Justin following behind him.

"Hey Justin. What's going on?"

Justin sighs before puckering his lips and watches the houses they walk by.

Justin turns to Kellin.

"Do you wanna go to this one park with me? It's nearby." Justin looks at Kellin with sad eyes.

Kellin looks at Justin and reads his face before nodding fast.

"Yeah definitely."

Justin smiles as him and Kellin walk until they reach a small playground.

Kellin plops down into a swing next to Justin, looking over to his friend. Justin pulls something out of his pocket before putting it in his mouth and lighting it.

Kellin and Justin sit in silence as Kellin texts his mom

Momma 💖: ok just get home safe
2:48pm
Me: hey ma im at this park with my friend be home soon
Momma 💖: but kells, your grandma just got here she said she wants to see you
Me: ill be home soon I promise tell grandma I love her if I don't make it in time
Momma 💖: okay. But hurry up if that's what you're gonna do.

Kellin puts his phone away as Justin stands up off the swing, kellin watching as Justin turns to him.

"We can go now. Just wanted to take a second to chill out." Justin whispers out.

Kellin smiles.

"We can meet up later if you want. We can meet here."

Justin nods and gives Kellin a hug before they both go their separate ways, Kellin needing to pull out his Maps app and still getting lost.
