I stepped out of the car that I had just parked in my signature parking spot at Atlas's main building. This was going to be my second week on the job here. Atlas was the biggest internationally registered military group for hire. Basically we are mercenaries for hire around the world. Back when I was a little boy and the civil war of Skara against Lavaria was still going on I dreamed of joining Atlas and charging into battle with all my brothers in arms. Now everything has changed, sure I got my job at Atlas, but I hadn't been in a single battle. Ever since the war ended with Skara coming out victorious they still hadn't found the rebel Lavarian leader Zoran Lazarevich. He's now leading a new band of rebels who call themselves the LRA or Lavarian Rebel Assassins. I was determined to find out where Lazarevich was hiding and take him down myself.

I looked up at the huge double doors that were the only things separating me from my orientation test that would allow me to enter the field and find Zoran. I took a deep breath and filled my lungs with air before stepping forward and walking through the automatic sliding doors. Inside sat the person who would be judging me to see if I was good enough to join the ranks. "John! Quite good to see you! Are you ready for your orientation?" the man asked. "Ready as I'll ever be boss." The man I was talking to was named Harrison Atlas. He was the founder of Atlas and also ran the orientation tests. "Splendid! You'll be taken through the test by none other than Preston Jones, our fine commander." I looked around and then asked "Well, where is this so called Commander." I then felt a tap on my shoulder but when I turned around no one was there. Out of nowhere the man who I had just asked for was standing in front of me. "But how?!" I yelled very confused on how he appeared. "Cloaking technology. It's one of Atlas's newest experiments." I stood still confused on how he could appear and disappear at will. "So you're the one I'm taking through the test? Scrawny but we can do something with you." He grabbed my arm before I had time to respond dragging me out of the conference room and down a hallway.
We ended up in a room filled with weapons and two elevators. I browsed over the weapons while Preston already had his two loaded ready to go. I picked up a Bal-27 assault rifle and loaded a mag into it. Along with the assault rifle I picked up an RW1 which is a pistol still in testing which fires a rail gun shot capable of penetrating through tank armour. I also picked up a combat knife along with 4 grenades. "Step into the elevator opposite of me John. We'll be setting the simulator for citadel." I had heard of the citadel before and from what I knew it wasn't easy. I stepped into the elevator and checked over my weapons to make sure they were loaded and looked up as the sky came closer and closer. The elevator stopped at the top and I looked out over the field towards the log house in the distance. I knew what we'd have to do... And I was ready.
