Hey guys, I'm so sorry I haven't been updating! I've just been stuck on which direction I should take this story but now that my writer's block is gone, I have tons of new chapters coming! :)

Please enjoy! I hope you guys really like it!

"Shit! I wasn't even speeding!" Logan exclaimed, slamming his fists into the wheel.

My tears were dried by then however I could feel my blood hot eyes grow puffy.

The car came to a slow paced stop with Logan letting out an irritated grunt. He rolled down the window cooperatively as the office knocked on the window with his flashlight.

His brows furrowed, eyes weary with exhaustion, "It's a little late for a couple of kids to be out, don't you think?"

I eyed the clock, 2:26 am.

Logan began to fidget his fingers nervously as I kept my poise silently. By then, his jaw was clenched and he was starting to sweat a little.

"What's the problem, officer?" So cliché, even for Logan.

"Logan Allen, step out of the car." He said sternly.

My heart skipped a beat, as if I knew what would happen next.

"What's this all about?" I asked, bug eyed.

"How do you know my name?" Logan said as he did as he was told.

"Ma'am, don't you worry. You're safe now, this man won't hurt you anymore." The officer said getting cautiously closer to Logan.

"Sir, you have it all wrong-"

"Logan Allen, you are under arrest for domestic abuse. You have the right to attorney-" he continued on as he attempted to handcuff Logan.

If I had blinked for a second I would have missed it. In an instant, Logan tried to squirm out of the officer's grasp and succeeded. He managed to take two steps before the cop tackled him down to the ground, pushing the side of his face to the dusty pavement. He was sitting above his back when I heard the handcuffs click.

"Shouldn't have done that, boy." He said bringing Logan to his feet.

By then I was already rushing out of the car and at the officer's side when I said, "Abuse?! What are you talking about? This guy has never hurt me before!"

"It's okay now, he's going to be locked up for what he did to you. No more living in fear."

"Locked up?!" Logan pleaded.

"Can it, kid!" the officer warned.

"Mister, this is all just some misunderstanding. He's never laid a finger on me." I argued.

"We have reason to believe he has despite your allegations, ma'am." He said a little too confident.

"And what are those reasons?" I said crossing my arms over my chest causing my sleeves to roll down.

"You're all the proof we need." He said eyeing my bruises on my right arm.

I stood there with my mouth open ready to argue but not a sound came out.

"Sir, please. If you would allow me to explain." Logan begged as the officer jostled him forcefully.

"Don't bother wasting your breath, kid. Plus we have a witness so you're done for."

I snapped back into reality, "A witness?"

"Yes, that nice lady from the In N' Out restaurant. She was kind enough to report this man after she saw your bruises and the way he was treating you at the drive thru."
