"Don't you play basketball? How can you already be complaining?" I said with an attitude trying to make fun of Logan.
"I'm not used to all this walking, I just make all the shots." Logan replied, out of breath.
"Suck it up, we're almost there. The tour guide said we'll be there in five minutes." It was like talking to a three year old.
"Who wants to hike all the way to The Hollywood Sign instead of taking a shuttle? Apparently you do." Logan spouted.
"It'll be worth it in the end just keep up."
After five more minutes of walking, we had finally made it and the view was phenomenal.
"Whoa, LA is amazing." Logan said.
We could see the entire city and it all became overwhelming. The city made of dreams, the city full of glamour and fame, the city that's rich in history and heritage, the city with tons of variety in every aspect imaginable, the city beautifully depicted with lights when the moon was out and mesmerizing scenery during the day time was right there in front of us. The whole symbol of LA being a city known for its free-spirit and individuality made my heart light up, a place made specifically for us and our story.
I felt Logan's arm wrap around my shoulders, his body pressing against mine, as he said, "I'm actually really glad we did this no matter how much I whined."
"Told you it would be worth it." I said in a whisper.
Our tour guide came up to us with a camera in hand and she said, "Picture for the happy couple?"
My face flushed, "Um, we're actually-"
"We would be glad to." Logan interrupted with a big grin.
"Marvelous!" The busty lady with long, grey hair said, "Scoot a little to your right you two, we want a great view of LA behind you! Get closer to each other now and say cheese! On three, one...two...three!"
"Here you are." The lady said handing us our picture.
"How much is it?" Logan said scrambling for his wallet.
"Free of charge for you two, such a lovely couple." She said cheerfully.
"Hear that? She thinks we're together." Logan flirted.
I was consumed by the way our picture turned out. Every single thing about it came out perfect, everything from the scenery to our smiles. "I love it." I said smiling.

When Logan told me he wanted to walk around LA and grab some lunch I thought he was joking. But sure enough, he pulled through with it. Logan kept me on my toes and continued to surprise me and honestly, it gave me a rush which I could not get enough of.
"I never took you for the athletic type, Lancaster." Logan said as we made our third lap around an LA park. He looked at my outfit and smiled, nodding his head.
I took a handful of my caramel popcorn that we had bought in The Hollywood Sign souvenir shop, "What? What's wrong with my outfit?"
"Nothing," he laughed, "you look lovely." Emphasis on 'lovely.'
I looked at him, confused, "You know I do play softball and I run track here and there too."
He continued to chuckle.
"Wow, legging capris, an athletic tank top and some Nike shoes make you laugh?"
"No, no. You're just cute," he said, "and plan to look even cuter tonight."
