This is exactly how I pictured Logan. His personality ties in wiith his looks in my opinion and this guy fit the description perfectly. Thanks for reading and enjoy!

"Whoa, Avery, I had no idea. I'm so sorry." Jennifer chirped softly.

"That must really suck. Sorry, dude." Bethany said. She was never really good at saying the right thing but I could see she was really trying and that's all that matters.

"Thanks. Thanks for listening to what I had to say, I just had to let it out. I can't consult Brooke about it since she keeps trying to tell my dad about my mom. She's restless and she's waiting for the right opportunity to tell him."

"It's great that you're not keeping this stuff bottled up. That sort of thing would have driven me insane." Jennifer added with a worried look in her eyes.

It's true. Any other person would have been driven insane because of all the disputes and shouting. The tension in the walls of my home are piercing, it surely would have surely caused people to run. But why I was still there is a question that haunted me every morning I woke up.

"Wait, so Brooke wants to tell your dad? Why?" Bethany confusingly said.

"Wouldn't you want to know if your wife was cheating on you? Think about it, dummy." Jennifer mocked.

"Well, shit. I guess I would want to know but then again I would be heartbroken..." Bethany said as she dozed off.

"Exactly, that's why Avery is so reluctant to tell her dad." Jennifer said in a know it all voice.

"Actually, I kind of want to tell my dad too." I let out at a whisper.

Simultaneously, they both looked at me with wide eyes and said, "What?"

"You can't be serious. So what if your mom is freakishly planning your future for you? That's a good thing, Avery." Jennifer said trying to knock some sense into me.

"Yeah, I actually agree with her," Bethany said. Bethany and Jennifer lived to argue with each other, two polar opposites. Bethany saying she agrees with Jennifer was an indicator that she was serious, "I would love to have someone care about my future like your mom does. Maybe then I would actually take my school work seriously." Bethany said without a smile on her face.

"It's not necessarily a bad thing if you look at it from a different perspective, Avery." Jennifer said with a smudge of encouragement in her eyes.

I turned to my friends for moral support in the hopes that they would be on my side. I foolishly thought they would help me take my mind off of my hectic home life yet they wanted me to see my situation in a "different perspective?"

"Wow, I don't need to 'look at it from a different perspective,' I just need you two to help me out here. Lie to me and tell me everything will be okay, do something to get everything that's rushing through my head out."

They both looked at me then their eyes shifted to each other and they both gave me a slight, innocent smile.

"Don't worry, it may not seem like it now but everything will be fine. Trust me." Jennifer said as she scooted closer to hug me.

"Yeah, everything will go back to normal. It always does." Bethany said as she joined in on the hug.

Right now, I needed these girls more than ever. Since I have been such a wreck lately, I needed to have someone as my rock. I'm glad they were holding me together, keeping me afloat from the deep ocean that was my emotions.

Telling my friends about all that's been going on with my parents wasn't easy and I dreaded telling them since last night; however, I would much rather relive the fear and nerves I was feeling this morning before I told Bethany and Jennifer over hearing all these girls gawk over some new kid in school.
