Also, just a heads up so no one gets confused, I've slightly changed it so that Fred and Sirius never died because they are just so much fun to write about!

GINNY:

He's done it! Voldemort is gone at last. Looking at Him now I can tell he needs space, but naturally he won't tell anyone that because he wants to make everyone happy.

Luckily for him I spot his cloak hanging slightly out of his pocket, quickly formulating a plan in my mind looking for a distraction. Thankfully I find some of Fred and George's leftover fireworks they were firing at death-eater.

Pulling out my wand I light the largest one I can find, and seconds later the great hall ceiling is filled with a gigantic, golden dragon. It swirls in the air roaring loudly.

The reaction was immediate, a few whipped out their wands in fear but the majority simply turned and stared at the dragon cheering. Others even added their own spells into the mixs, creating fountains of sparks and loud bangs.

Pushing my through the crowd I finally reach Harry, pulling his cloak from his pocket I throw it over him.

Reaching blindly I grabbed his arm and turn, pulling him through the crowds and towards the crumbling entrance to the great hall.

Clambering over huge chunks of wall lying on the floor I finally reached the statue of the one-eyed witch.

Pulling it aside, I climb through and, after making sure harry was through as well, I close it behind me.

HARRY;

After being pulled through the passage way by Ginny, I realised it had been her that had distracted everyone with that firework and found my cloak to get me out of there.

"Thank you Ginny! But how did you, I mean..why did you..."

"Harry, I've known you for years, anyone could see you needed space, so I did what I could" she smiled softly and turned to leave

"Wait! Ginny, where are you going?"

"Well..um...I thought..y'know..you would want to be alone?"

She shuffled her feet nervously, clearly unsure of what to do

"No, Ginny please, don't go. I just couldn't stand everyone thanking me for what I had done when it was all my fault their familys had been killed. I didn't deserve their praise." I looked down shamefully, feeling the guilt begin to take over

"HARRY JAMES POTTER!" Jumping out of my skin when she yelled I looked at her and saw her eyes filled with anger, her hands curled into fists.

"NO ONES DEATH WAS YOUR FAULT! DONT YOU DARE TRY TO BLAME YOURSELF! THOSE PEOPLE DIED TRYING TO STOP VOLDEMORT. Not ONE died because of you." Tears were running down her face now, and she began sobbing

Oh Merlin. What do I do? Ginny rarely cries. Awkwardly I held her to me, sitting down, still holding her, I softly stroke her hair.

"Hey, hey, sshh its okay, its over, everything will be fine"

Ginny lifted her tear-stained face and whispered croakily

"Its not that, I just...I thought you had died..and now I'm..yelling at you...I'm sorry"

"No, its my fault, I'm sorry to put you through that. But let's talk about this later. For now I think we both need some sleep"

And with that they clambered out through the passage entrance and made their way to the Griffindor common room.
