'they keep finding us- how is it possible?!' geum said.
'i think i know' taeyong said.
kihyun gathered all the guards and taeyong walked past all of them.
'listen... one of you.. is a betrayer. and you know what happens to betrayers? they get killed ruthless either way by the enemy or by me!' taeyong said and the guards started shivering and looking down.
'now let me make it simple for you... if you give in now.. your punishment will be less than when i find out by myself.'taeyong said and looked into their eyes.
the guards looked to eachother they all didn't know what to do except for one of course.
'SPEAK NOW!' taeyong said.
one of the guards started crying, the youngest one.
'why are you crying soldier?!' taeyong said.
the soldier looked down and wiped his tears away.
'now! you have exactly 1 hour to come to me or the emperor. if you don't.. then i will find out by myself and kill you right on the spot!' taeyong said and all the soldiers went away.
'wow taeyong.. you handled that very well!' Geum said.
'of course! this is getting dangerous, we should not leak any information anymore.' Taeyong said and walked to his tent.

meanwhile

'mother! stop being so stubborn!' minhyuk said.
'listen son, i don't care what you say but i am not staying here with those' lady florist said looking disgusted to the other ladies.
'you don't have to get along with them but we have to stay here because it is dangerous outside' minhyuk said pulling his mother back.
'what is going on here?' lady star asked.
'non of your business!' lady florist said.
'sorry for my mother' minhyuk said and dragged lady florist to her room.
'mother stay here and think about your deeds because i don't know how you think about being here with me but i certainly don't like being here with you and i bet taeyong and hyojong think the same' minhyuk said and he went to the other ladies.
'minhyuk, take a seat you are being busy all the time with your mother, relax' empress dowager said.
'thank you' he said and sat down.
'we all know how hard it must be for you, being alone with old ladies and especially with your mom' lady sapphire said.
'i think i am fine.. don't worry about me.' minhyuk said.
suddenly a guard came in saying that there is a letter from the camp.
'well finally it was about time!' minhyuk said and opened it.
he read it out loud.
'dear minhyuk, we all are doing fine i hope you and our mothers are too. please tell them that we miss them and want them to be safe. also please you too stay safe and keep watch, as soon as this war is over we will catch up with you... from your brothers' minhyuk read out loud and he almost got tears.
'they think of us...' lady star said.
'of course they do..' empress dowager said.
'i have to go.. it's time for me to gather the harvest for dinner tonight' minhyuk said and left.
'he sure is a good boy..' lady sapphire said.

'higher!! higher!!!' ryujin screamed.
yeosang pushed her higher.
'you are going to fall off the swing if i push you too high' yeosang said and laughed.
'i don't care! you'll catch me anyways' she said with a big smile on her face.
'yeah i bet i do' yeosang said and stopped the swing.
they stood before eachother and yeosang kissed her.
'you know.. i really like it when you do that' she said laughing shy.
'really?' he said and smirked kissing her more.
'eh- you know what nevermind' prince Yi said and ran away.
'haha sorry for my Father..' yeosang said.
'your father is 10.000 times better than mine' ryujin said.
'i doubt that.. what did he do that you had to run away?' yeosang asked.
ryujin looked down and sat on the grass.
'you know.. i knew one day you would ask me this question and i gotta be honest..' ryujin said holding his hands.
'what is it? you know you can trust me eventhough i haven't told her i am the prince of this country' yeosang said.
'i know but.. you might freak out and i don't want to ruïn what we have..' ryujin said.
'if it wasn't for your father how else would you have ran away and met me.. trust me you can tell me and i promise i won't freak out' yeosang said.
'you promise?' ryujin asked,
'i promise!' yeosang said and sat straight before her.
'my Father... he.. he is' ryujin said but got interrupted.
'yeosang!!! help!!!' prince Yi yelled.
'omy- i'll be right back sorry' yeosang said and ran towards his father.

elsewhere

i finally found a way again to get out of that place.. i haven't been to the house in 3 days. when i arrived i saw that the wooden plate had moved and no one was in the open space. i got worried and looked all over the place but i couldn't find him. i called for his name and searched all over the town.
then suddenly i heard screaming. someone screaming for help. i ran towards that place and i saw my fellow soldiers holding onto Han and shaking him around.
i screamed to let go of him but they never take me serious either. i had no other choice.. it was the only way to save the boy.. i promised him that i would protect him no matter what.. no matter what means.. even if i have to kill my people. so i took a bow and arrow and shot the 2 soldiers with it and they died. i grabbed Han and told him i was going to bring him somewhere else.
i ran and ran but bumped into someone. it was an old lady. she was afraid of me because i belonged to the enemy but i told her that i just wanted to bring this kid into safety and she looked to the child seeing his anxious face. she took pity on us and brought us to a place. i told her i could not enter in there and said my goodbyes to the child.. the child asked me what my name is.. and i told him what it was. now my long journey of saving this kid has come to an end and those kind people behind that door will continue that path for me.. i walked away and never turned back.

'what is going on Father?!' yeosang said.
'nothing you just had to come.' prince Yi said.
the old maid came with a young boy.
'who is that?' yeosang asked.
'this is kim han.. there was a soldier who dropped the kid off because he couldn't take care of him anymore' the old maid said.
'so why bring it here? it's not my concern wether that child makes it or not' yeosang said.
'how can you say that..' ryujin said and grabbed the child.
'ryujin- i told you to wait' yeosang said.
'i know but i missed you already hehe..' ryujin said looking shy down.
'stop it' yeosang said shy too.
'are you two kidding me?' prince Yi said and walked away.
'what should we do with him?' the old maid asked.
Han got on his knees and begged yeosang.
'please, please let me stay here. my parents were killed by the enemy and i have nowhere to go..' Han said.
'please yeosang! let's raise him alright?' ryujin said.
'i- raise him?! i'm too young to be a dad' yeosang said.
'well.. your not that young either-' the old maid said but yeosang glared at her.
'fine!!' yeosang said rolling his eyes.
ryujin jumped out of excitement.
'han from today on we are your new parents, and that old guy there is your grandfather! and you have so many uncles and aunts' ryujin said.
han got up and hugged yeosang.
'thank you so much' han said.
'you better not call me dad' yeosang said and smiled hugging him back.
ryujin smiled too and they all hugged.

meanwhile

'how dare you.. betray us, bringing us and our men into danger' Geum said.
'i know and i am really sorry but he wanted to take my life.. i have a son and a wife..' the soldier said.
'you think we don't? our families are across the whole country only to be safe! we can't see them and we don't know if we make it alive but that's what we all want' Geum said.
'geum i'll take it from here' taeyong said and grabbed his sword.
'please prince don't kill me! i will never do it again please!' the soldier begged on his knees but taeyong couldn't stand the fact that he risked all of their lives and killed him.
the blood splattered on taeyongs face and the soldier was dead on the ground.
'you know.. we didn't have to kill him..' geum said.
'too late' taeyong said and wiped away the blood.
taeyong walked away.
geum turned over the man and saw something in his hand.. a name written on wood..
'kim... kim Han' Geum said.
he grabbed it and stored it up.

yes so, this chapter wow! i am really satisfied with this book. and have you guys seen my new cover? i think this one is a lot better than the former one.. n e ways, the man in italics his story is going to end same for the war. the next chapter will be about the enemies camp it'll be interesting believe me! now i hope you enjoyed this chapter and the book so far have a great day.
