'How could you..'

Dahyun smiled and got off geum.
'HYUNG! HOW COULD YOU DO THIS?!' Kihyun screamed.
'Kihyun.. its not what you think-' geum tried.
'what is going on here?' Kyung came back and saw dahyun smirking.
'What is she doing here?' Kyung asked confused.
'Kyung lets go!' Kihyun said and dragged kyung out of the room.
'Kihyun! Wait no!' Geum sighed and looked damn angry to dahyun.
'Choose me or lose everything' dahyun said.
Geum grabbed a sword and held it against her throat.
But dahyun still smiled.
'If you kill me your making much problems with your mother and my family.' Dahyun said.
'What if no one knows that you died by my hands' geum calls his guards.
'Kill her' geum said.
'STOP!' Someone screamed.

Taeyong came in the room.
'Geum.. dont kill her alright.' Taeyong said and grabbed her arm.
'WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE' geum screamed.
'Geum..' taeyong sighed, 'lets go dahyun' taeyong walked with her to his room.

Geum was furious and broke everything in his room.
His hands were full of blood.

Kyung & kihyun

'Kihyun let go!' Kyung screamed.
'Your living in my house from now on and you only leave when i tell you!' Kihyun said.
'FIRST TELL ME WHATS GOING ON' like a little kid kyung sat on the ground and wept.
'When the time is right i will' Kihyun said before he left and locked the door.
'KIHYUN! LET ME OUT!' Kyung screamed but he already left.
Kyung started to cry.

.... few hours later
Someone came into the room.
'Kyung.. are you awake?' A kind soft voice said.
Kyung slowly wakes up.
She rubs her eyes.
'Kyung its me.. lady sapphire' she smiled.
'Oh.. your highness' kyung tried to sit up but she felt a little weak.
'Dont mind kihyun alright? He adores you so much' lady sapphire smiled and pats her hair.
'I know.. but what happened?' Kyung asked.
'I don't know it either but you can come out for now' lady sapphire said.
Kyungs nods and follows lady sapphire.
'Mother why did you let her out?' Kihyun said.
'Kihyun.. she needs her freedom. Why are you like this suddenly?' Lady sapphire asked.
'You wanna know why? GEUM! I saw him kissing dahyun' Kihyun looked to kyung and regrets what he just said.
'Geum would never do that.. it must be a trick from dahyun..' kyung tries to keep her hopes.

'Kyung.. i did this for your safety..' Kihyun said and looked down.
'I know kihyun.. but please let me go to Geum' kyung begged her brother.
'Alright..' Kihyun said.
Kyung hugged kihyun and ran off to Geums palace.

Geum was in pain since that day he never came out of his room. Kyung arrived.

'Halt! You can't go inside by empress order!' A guard said.
'Let me pass!' Kyung screamed.

Geum heard it and went totally crazy.
'KYUNG!' Geum ran to the door and opened it.
'Geum!' Kyung looked to geum and saw him with blood everywhere.
'What.. what happened' kyung tried not to cry.
'Dont cry' geum said and walked slowly to her but the guards stopped him.
'Uh hello? Let me pass' Geum said and tried to pass again.
'By empress order you can't leave and if you dont listen we are allowed to use violence' one of the guards said.
'Do as you like' Geum still passed and got whipped.
Still Geum didnt care and endured the pain.
'Geum no..' kyung cried.
Geum was almost there but the last whip the 40th already.. he collapsed.
'GEUM NO!' Kyung screamed and ran to Geum and protected him.

Meanwhile
'How are you doing your job?' Empress asked to dahyun.
'Your highness i succesfully separated prince Yi and princess yoo' dahyun said.
'Good work' the empress got up and took something.
'Here' she gave it to dahyun.

'Take this' empress said and before dahyun could say anything she was told to leave.

Back to kyung and Geum

'WHAT IS GOING ON HERE?!' Prince hyojong screamed.
'CALL THE ROYAL PHYSICIAN' hyojong screamed.
'And you two' hyojong pointed to the guards that whipped Geum 'LOCK THEM UP!' hyojong was furious and the guards that whipped kyung and Geum were locked up.

The royal physician checked them and they were injured with deep cuts.

'Will they be okay?' Hyojong asked.
'I am not sure your highness..' the royal physician said.

A message was sent to the empress and she came immediately.

'GEUM' empress came and had tears.
Kyung was lying beside him unconscious.
Geum slowly woke up.
'Mother. What are you doing here?' Geum wasn't happy.
'I.. i came to visit you' empress said.
'I dont want to see you! GET OUT' geum said.
'Geum..' empress tried.
'Hyung here is some-' hyojong saw empress dowager and wanted to leave but Geum stopped him.
'Hyojong come in mother you leave' geum said.
Empress left and hyojong came in.
'Hyung.. aren't you being too harsh for your Mother?' Hyojong asked.
'Look what she did! Kyung is still unconscious' Geum tried not to vent his anger on hyojong.
'Okay hyung. Should i get lady sapphire?' Hyojong asked.
'Not yet. Kihyun will become angry if he hears this' geum said.
'Okay hyung.. then what else can i do?' Hyojong asked.
'Take care of kyung until im back. Dont let her search for me once she wakes up' Geum said.
'Okay hyung..' hyojong didn't dare to ask why.
Geum got up and put on his clothes and walks towards the emperor palace.

'Emperor, crown prince Yi is here' a eunuch said.
'Let him in' Emperor said.
Geum entered and bowed before his Father.
'Father, your loyal son is here to see you and to tell you something' Geum said.
'Please rise Prince Yi' Emperor said 'whats your request?'
'I wanna be the next Emperor, i made up my mind' Geum said.
The emperors eyes widened and he sat straight.
'You really made up your mind?' Emperor asked.
Geum nods 'but i have one condition' he said 'i want kyung to be my empress, mother must step down' geum said.
The Emperor touched his beard and thinks.
'Do you really love kyung?' Emperor asked.
Geum nods.
'Then, okay i will grant your wish.' Emperor said.
'Thank you Father! I will never forget this and will treat you well as the next emperor.' Geum bowed low to the ground.
'No need my son. I am a bit tired and the country needs a new and young emperor. I will finish the state affairs and then step down' Emperor said.

'Thanks Father!' Geum said again.
'Okay, you may go now' emperor said.
Geum bowed one last time and he left.

'Hello prince Yi' a voice came from the entrance.
Geum looked towards there and saw dahyun.
'It's nice to see you' she said.
'You can't even enter here. Its legal to kill you right on the spot.' Geum said.
'Alright alright. Hows that girl of you doing?' She asked. And somehow it sounded sincere.
'She.. she is still unconscious i think' geum said.

'Look i have to tell you something' she said with a serious face.

Meanwhile~

'I have decided it and you shall accept it' the emperor said.
'But your highness! You would consider making taeyong the next emperor' lady florist said.
'I have now changed my mind! Empress do you agree?' He said.
'If he wishes to do so.. i won't stop him' she said.
'Same for me your highness' lady star said (mina and yeosangs mother)
'Alright it's decided, i will step down after a month when all the state affairs are dealed with and Geum will take over the throne, let people know this' emperor said.

Kyung and hyojong

'Ah... where am i?' Kyung asked.
'You're in Geums room' hyojong said and brought some tea.
'Where is he?! He was injured!' Kyung panicked.
She got up and ran to the door.
Hyojong held her.
'Geum told me to not let you go!' He said.
'LET GO OF ME! GUARDS! GUARDS!' Kyung screamed.

Suddenly something crashes on the door

'kyung stay here' hyojong said.
People were fighting.
What is this?
'Your coming with me' someone said and suddenly kyung passed out.

KYUNG! KYUNG..

Everything became black-
