Boyxboy One Shots[Taking requests]

Gelena Island

I met a boy. He wasn't exactly normal. He was a merman. I've lived by the coast for years. Everyday, not matter what weather or disaster is raging, I go out to the coast and wait for him. He arrives at midnight. We talk for hours. He is wonderful person.

His name is Meriah. He has blue hair and a greenish-blue tail. He is very funny. Tonght is the full moon, so he should come sooner. He always comes early to bask in the early stars shining beside the moon. Whenever he looks at the moon, his eyes become full of wonder and hope. I hope one day that I can go with him.

He says there is a way for me to become like him. If I jump into the sacred water hidden on Galena Island, I can become like him. But, the only problem is, there is no returning human. Mermaid, or wait 100 years for the next silver moon. Its tomorrow.

I've been arguing with myself or quite some time over this subject. I think I might actually love Meriah. Although he is a total dork, and very clumsy, he is very charming and characteristic. I love it when he pretends he is Ariel from The Little Mermaid, and then falls into the sea.

I should probably head down there now. Its almost 11:30. I grabbed my sweatshirt and shorts, dashing down past my parents and baby sister.

"Mathias, are you going out again?" My mother, Kelley, called.

"Yes! I'll be back before 4. I promise!" I wrenched the door open, ready torun before I heard my father speak.

"Better not come back this time." He grumbled.

"Emery!" My mother scolded him.

I wasted no time slammig the door and racing down to the beach. I waded through the water to a rock that was set to where Meriah could swim right up and talk. I stared out across the ocean, waiting for a flash of green, signaling his appearance.

I sat for a while waiting. My eyes started to drift close as I saw A spark of green. He's here! I jumped up and waved like a maniac. He swam up in a panic. His eyes were wide with worry.

"Mathias! You have to decide now. Do want to become a merman with me or do you want to stay. My family is leaving tomorrow. Please hurry!"

I stared at him. Tonight? But Peony and mom, they'd be worried. But I have to. I love this boy in front of me.

"Take me Meriah. I want to go with you. I love you." That last part slipped out. I rushed my hand over my mouth. My cheeks were overheating.

He just smirked, "I know. Lets go." I slid into the icy water beside him.

Mariah wrapped his arms around me and used his powerful tail to send us through the currents. I tapped his chest a few times to let him know I had to breathe.

He nodded and glided upwards. I felt my lungs burning for air. We broke through the waves and I gasped for air.

"I forgot you were human still." Meriah said jokingly.

"Jerk," I mumbled. He shot back down.

We continued swimming through the dark sea for what seemed what hours, but was actually a few minutes.

I saw a small island approaching quickly. I took a big gulp of air as Meriah dove under. He took us through an underwater passage. By the time we emerged, my face was red with the ned for air. Meriah let go of me and I floated to the middle of the pond.

The pond was surrounded by plants that I've never seen before. The leaves of the trees were probably as bis as a car. The place in itself was lovely.

"I must go. If I get caught in the moon beams it will have the opposite effects on me. Find me after. I love you Mathias." Meriah spoke softly and disappeared under.

"Okay," I was mesmerized by the glittering fauna around me. I brought my gaze to thee moon almost directly overhead of the pool.

As it moved into position, the water around me began to glow and the buzzing of the insects seased to exsist. I closed my eyes and waited in complete silence for the transformation. Meriah had told me once I must keep my eyes open. I opened them.

The wolrd went dark.

"-thias."

"MATHIAS JASON CARLILE!" My eyes oen and I bolted upward. I hit my head on something really hard.

"Ow. What?"

My mother, father and sister were hunched over my bed, my elder sister was rubbing her forhead. Thats what I must've headbutted.

My mother spoke first. "You screaming in your sleep. Is everything okay hunny?" She sounded sincere.

"Yea I am," I looked around the room. "Wait, Meriah?!" I bolted from my room and out the door. 'He's waiting for me. He's down at the beach. We're supposed to go tonight!'

My father was screaming aftyer me but I ignored him. I ignored everyone who stared at me ass I bolted past in my pajamas. I had to get down the beach.

I sprinted out onto the blistering hot sand and into the water. I slowed down as I neared my destination. I stopped completely when I saw a boy sitting by Meriah and I's meeting spot. He had dyed blue hair and greenish blue swim trunks on.

"Hey!" I called out to him. He turned me and smirked.

"Well if it isn't Mathias. Waiting for your prince of the sea, brother?"
