The day to travel down to camp had finally arrived. So, you and the rest of the first years from the heroics course all got together and were standing outside the school waiting for the busses. While some students screamed with delight and talked about various different topics, or just talked about the camp. You were standing a bit off to the back with your bag beside you. You sighed and twisted your back to crack it a bit, trying to get ready for everything.
You felt someone slap a hand on your back and you turned back and saw Kirishima was smiling next to you. You smiled back at him as you both looked out to the sea of students and the few teachers going with everyone.
Kirishima: Well man, today's the day. You think you'll ready for this?
(Y/N): Don't think I have much of a choice. Still, I am kinda surprised they let you come along. You did fail the practical.
Kirishima: Yeah. Same here. I mean, it's just a few extra classes with Ashido and some others. It shouldn't be too bad.
(Y/N): Guess so.
Kirishima: So, how was the second dinner date with Uraraka's parents? Man enough for them?!
(Y/N): Oh come on, Shima. (He gives you a smirk, edging you on. You sigh) Alright. Things went alright. Honestly, I'm just surprised they like me. Like at all. I mean, I kinda did put their daughter in peril. And, having a dad who yelled at her to get some raw power, and causing her medical bills. And-
Kirishima: Alright man. Things were pretty rocky, I get it.
(Y/N): You asked. I answered.
Kirishima: Yeah. Well, hey at least you have a relationship.
(Y/N): Well alright then. If you're going to edge it on like that, might as well ask.
Kirishima: I don't really want to-
(Y/N): Shima. Don't taught me you little piece of-
Kirishima: Oh hey would you look at that! The girls are finally here!
Kirishima quickly walked off to talk with Ashido and Uraraka while you were left bewildered. You then glared ahead at your best friend, having so many gears twist in your brain at once.
(Y/N): So be it. But I will find out my friend. I will.
Unknown to you, Uraraka walked up next to you and smiled up at you.
Uraraka: Hey, (Y/N)! Uh, what's with the glare? Is that a hero thing or a Doragon thing?
(Y/N): Little bit of both.
Uraraka: Wow. You're still weird.
(Y/N): Yeah. What's your point?
Uraraka: My mom made us some cookies for the trip.
She opened a book and you slowly reached in and took a bit of one.
(Y/N): Your mom is too good to me. I'm surprised she doesn't hate me.
Uraraka: You think everyone hates you! Stop that.
(Y/N): No. I will always believe that.
Uraraka looked at you with a deadpanned look. She grabbed your arm and began to drag you to the busses as they pulled up. You grabbed your bag and handed it off to Aizawa as he loaded everything up for the students and the busses took off. The drive was somewhat loud as everyone was socializing with one another. You rode beside Uraraka as she had a pair of headphones on, listening to some music while resting her head against your shoulder. You looked out the window, still with the worries of Shigaraki in your mind.
